IPCs postgraduate programme provides tomorrows leaders with a exible and comprehensive interdisciplinary approach to recognising, designing, and implementing solutions for achieving a sustainable outcome when addressing issues of international signicance. Good decision makers and managers need to be able to view any situation in a variety of contexts, and accordingly frame insight and responses through synthesis of methodologies from from different disciplines.
The first year of the MIS programme consists of five double papers. The first four papers focus upon developing the students ability to critically assess the outlook, contribution and limitations of business, politics, environment and science in the context of sustainable management. The MIS programme emphasises how despite the presence of different views and approaches across disciplines, overall synthesis can be achieved through the development and exploration of linkages between each field of study.
