Discipline - Mechanical The specification shall cover scope of supply and services with terminal points, exclusions, list of applicable design codes and standards to be adopted, detailed technical specification/requirements of belt and conveyor components based on design codes, quality standards/requirements, data sheets to be furnished by bidder as per format enclosed with contract, testing and inspection, painting, packaging, forwarding etc. Specification for Electrical Equipments, Instrumentation and Controls as applicable. contractor to furnish detailed specification including all the above requirements for owner review. It is noted that the DBR drawings are proposed to be enclosed as part of this Ordering Specification. The scope and terminal points may be clearly defined in the Flow Diagram. The Equipments/ Auxiliaries in the scope may be highlighted in the MAIN EQUIPMENT TABLE for easy understanding by the Bidders. The approximate lengths of each conveyor shall be indicated in the Specification for reference, which may be taken directly from the latest DBR for CHP ANNEXURE-4. The zone of the conveyors (, velocity 2.0 m/s) for stone pick-up facility, along with the accessories like local platforms, walkways and chutes (as per the resolutions in the DBR meeting) shall be highlighted in the Specification Under EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION, it is mentioned: - For the details, refer to CHP DBR. It is not expected that the full DBR for the CHP will form part of this specification. The relevant portions of the Approved CHP DBR should be inserted suitably in this Ordering Specification. Detailed Technical Specifications/ DATA SHEETS for the Auxiliaries (mentioned under Equipment Description) within the Bidders scope shall be enclosed with the Ordering Specification. The number, sizes, capacities, materials of construction and inspection/ testing for all these items shall be highlighted. The Suppliers QAPs shall be subject to owners review and approval.
