A
ACTIVO: es un bien tangible o intangible que posee una empresa. Por extensin, se denomina tambin activo al conjunto de los activos de una empresa. ACTIVE: a tangible or intangible that a company possesses. By extension, also called asset to all of the assets of a company.

AERONAVE: cualquier vehculo capaz de navegar por el aire, o, en general, por la atmsfera de un planeta. AIRCRAFT: Any vehicle capable of navigating the air, or, in general, the atmosphere of a planet.

AERONUTICA: ciencia o disciplina cuyo mbito es el estudio, diseo y manufactura de aparatos mecnicos capaces de elevarse en vuelo, as como el conjunto de las tcnicas que permiten el control de aeronaves. AERONAUTICS: science or discipline whose scope is the study, design and

manufacture of mechanical devices capable of rising in flight, and the set of techniques for controlling aircraft.

AMORTIZACIN: Reembolso del principal de los prstamos recibidos, de acuerdo al cronograma de vencimientos, del contrato, mediante cuotas peridicas generalmente iguales. AMORTIZATION: Repayment of principal on borrowings, according to the maturity schedule of the contract, with generally equal installments.

BARGRAFO: Instrumento que registra o inscribe las variaciones de la presin
atmosfrica. BAROGRAPH: Instrument that records or register variations of atmospheric pressure.

BENEFICIO: es un trmino utilizado para designar la ganancia que se obtiene de un proceso o actividad econmica.

BENEFIT: is a term used to describe the gain obtained from a process or activity.

BIENES: Objetos o cosas que requiere una Entidad para el desarrollo de sus actividades y cumplimiento de sus fines.

GOODS: Objects or things that require an entity to develop its activities and fulfill its
purposes.

BLANCO: En radar, cualquiera blanco de los muchos tipos de objetos detectados por el radar. WHITE: In radar, any of the many types of objects detected by the radar.

CALMA: Condicin atmosfrica asociada a la calma ausencia de viento o cualquier tipo de movimiento de aire. CALM: Weather conditions associated with calm no wind or any type of air movement.

COPILOTO: Piloto titular de licencia y habilitacin correspondiente, que presta servicio de pilotaje sin estar al mando de una aeronave, a excepcin del piloto que vaya a bordo de la aeronave con el nico fin de recibir instruccin de vuelo. DFICIT FINANCIERO: Es la diferencia negativa que resulta de la comparacin entre el ahorro o desahorro en cuenta corriente y el dficit o supervit en la cuenta de capital. Expresa los requerimientos crediticios de las Entidades. FINANCIAL DEFICIT: Is the negative difference resulting from the comparison

between the surplus or deficit and current account deficit or surplus in the capital account. Expresses the credit needs of the Entities.

 DEPRESIN: Regin de la atmsfera donde la presin en un nivel es baja con relacin a su contorno al mismo nivel. DEPRESSION: A region of the atmosphere where the pressure is low level relative to its contour at the same level.

EMBALAJES: Los receptculos y dems componentes o materiales necesarios para que el receptculo sea idneo a su funcin de contencin y permita satisfacer las condiciones de embalaje previstas. BUDGET EVALUATION: The set of analysis processes to determine, on a continuous

 FLUCTUACIONES: Las fluctuaciones son diferencias entre los montos registrados y los esperados por el auditor, basados en informacin comparativa financiera y el conocimiento de la entidad. GIRONAVE: Aeronave propulsada mecnicamente, que se mantiene en vuelo en virtud de la reaccin del aire sobre uno o ms rotores. SPINSHIP: mechanically propelled aircraft, which is supported in flight by the reactions of the air on one or more rotors.

 HLICE: Mecanismo usado para propulsar una aeronave, que tiene palas montadas a un eje, el cual cuando rota produce por su accin en el aire un empuje paralelo al eje longitudinal del avin. Tambin incluye los componentes para su control, los que normalmente provienen del mismo fabricante de la hlice. PROPELLER: Mechanism used to power an aircraft that has blades mounted to a shaft which when rotated produces by its action in the air a thrust parallel to the longitudinal axis of the aircraft. It also includes components for control, which usually come from the same manufacturer of the propeller.

HELICPTERO: Aeronave que se mantiene en vuelo principalmente en virtud de la reaccin del aire sobre uno o ms rotores propulsados mecnicamente que giran alrededor de ejes verticales o casi verticales. LIQUIDITY: Immediate provision of financial and monetary funds to meet all kinds of commitments. In the credits, securities or banking, liquidity means the property of being readily convertible into cash.

MANTENIBILIDAD: Es la probabilidad de que un sistema o equipo pueda ser mantenido (reparado), a sus especificaciones normales dentro de un perodo de tiempo establecido. MAINTAINABILITY: The probability that a system or equipment can be maintained (repaired), its normal specifications within a period of time.

 MECNICA: es la rama de la fsica que estudia y analiza el movimiento y reposo de los cuerpos, y su evolucin en el tiempo, bajo la accin de fuerzas. MECHANICS: is the branch of physics that studies and analyzes motion and rest of bodies, and their evolution in time under the action of forces.

MORA: El retraso parcial o total, continuado y acumulativo en el cumplimiento de prestaciones consistentes en la entrega de bienes, servicios o ejecucin de obras sujetos a cronogramas y calendarios contenidos en las Bases y/o contratos. MORA: The delay partial or total, continuous and cumulative benefits in meeting consisting of the delivery of goods, services or works subject to schedules and timetables contained in the Rules and / or contracts.

MOTOR: Maquina que convierte la energa calorfica en energa mecnica.

ENGINE: machine that converts heat energy into mechanical energy.

NAVEGACIN: Medios por los que se proporciona gua a una aeronave para que vuele desde una posicin conocida hasta otra posicin conocida. NAVIGATION: Means by which it provides guidance to an aircraft to fly from a known position to another position known.

RECURSO: fuente o suministro del cual se produce un beneficio. Normalmente, los recursos son material u otros activos que son transformados para producir beneficio y en el proceso pueden ser consumidos o no estar ms disponibles.
