This checklist is for you to complete for the assessment that you will conduct as part of your work toward the Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.

CONDUCT ASSESSMENT CHECKLIST


This document is your checklist and the form on which you will provide comments on various aspects of the assessment process . In the "Comments" column record your comments on each aspect of the assessment. VALID: the assessment was directly based on the performance criteria. Reliable: students submitted consistent results Authentic: questioning of the candidates verified authenticity of the work. Fair: students were given an assessment guide and marked objectively

Yes. Two candidates who did not have access to workplaces were provided with case studies on alternate assessment tasks. These simulated a real work environment Yes, as above. Assessments are consistently being refined according to the group needs

Additional comments: (Please include any additional comments here) This assessment work very well. It was important to prepare the candidates over a number of sessions. This was done by candidate completing simulated tasks over a number of weeks. She was well prepared by the time they attempted the assessment.
