3. DBMS integration to existing IT infrastructure


In data warehouse you have to move data from one place to another. If you have to treat with one database then you can treat it as to separate it logically. Data movement and integration involves: 1. We can move or replicate data when update happens, response of certain request and show result of large query. 2. Data integration helps to make data in one format look like it is in another 3. It ensures data safety at various physical locations 4. It supports synchronous replication and asynchronous replication. It means if you have important database application you choose another machine to run it. The first machine will update data request until there is assurance of it from second machine .In asynchronous replication you dont need to be wait for any assurance in response of any request. 5.
