Anglo-American School Belgrade

Introduction
Anglo-American School, now offers the courses and programs of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI). This booklet lists all LCCI courses that candidates may take at Anglo-American School, as well as communication guidelines. All of our courses reflect real world situations by providing actual scenarios and case studies from specialized newspapers, magazines, or textbooks. These courses are designed to enhance the candidate's ability to work in the business environment. To fully benefit from the course, candidates should focus on enhancing their own language and business skills. All candidates are expected to take a placement exam before they start any LCCI course. Placement exams are scheduled at the beginning of each course term. We use the English Language Skills Assessment (ELSA) for candidate placement. This exam is a diagnostic tool that checks all four language skills (listening, reading, speaking, and writing). Upon completion of this exam, candidates are directed towards the course that matches their language ability. Candidates are expected to invest additional time working out of class, practicing material learned during class time, in order to fully master the syllabus guidelines and advance to the next level. Additionally, they are supplied with various learning materials, both in print and electronic format, that provide a rich database of templates and handouts for their future business interactions. AngloAmerican School provides students with all the materials necessary to pass the exams; however, it cannot promise that students will pass the courses if they do not commit adequate time to their learning. Employers are able to follow the progress of their employee throughout the course by means of an online portal, where teachers write in details regarding candidate's progress in the course. However, final exams for these courses are graded externally by LCCI. If candidates request additional support in preparation for their desired exam, the school will meet the requests. Candidates with disabilities can ask for special course arrangements including additional support for materials in accessible formats and for assessment activities. Candidates are obliged to follow LCCI and Anglo-American School's guidelines for all tests and exams.
