NOW, THEREFORE, in exchange for the mutual promises and covenants contained herein the parties agree as follows: 1. Term of Office and Duties. The Planner shall serve as Borough Planner for the Borcuqh of Lodi in accordance the terms of this Contr~ct, for the period July 1, 2013 through June 30; 2014.

Duties of the Planner. (A) provide professional planning opmions and assistance to the Governing Body, on an as needed basis, at the request of the Governing Body;

Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Borough, including, !hut not limited to, review and analysis of those applications for de~elopment filed with the land use boards aforesaid involving site pl~n approval, subdivision approval, variance relief for any multl-unlt 'residential development, or as may be directed to the Planner for II eview by such land use board; .

3. Compensation. The Borough agrees that the Planner shall tie compensated for the services set forth in enumerated paragraph 2 above in accordance with the following fee schedule: .

The Planner shall submit vouchers in the form pr9vided for by the Borough on a monthly basis. Vouchers shall include a detailed statement of services rendered, the date of such service, and the amount of time expended therleon, all charged on an hourly basis, divided by one/tenth of an hour intervals. In the e~ent that the services performed by the Planner are undertaken in furtherance of the ~eviewof any .development application pending before the Planning Board of the Borough of Lodl or . the ~orou.gh of Lodi Zoning Board of Adjustment, copies of ~hero~chers aforesaid shall be filed WIththe Secretary of each affected land use board, It being understood and agreed by the Planner that services undertaken in connection ~ith the review of any such development application shall be paid from escrow funds p,>osted by the applicant in accordan.ce with the provisions of the "New Jersey MU!1iCiPal!Land Use Law", N.J.S.A. 40.550-1 et seg.
