ADVERTISEMENT FOR RECRUITMENT OF VILLAGE LEVEL WORKERS ( VLWs) Applications in the prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Village Level Workers (VLWs) in Rayagada district under administrative control of Collector, Rayagada in the pay band of Rs.5,200 20,200/-along with Grade Pay of Rs.2000/- and other allowances as admissible from time to time . The application should reach to the Collector,Rayagada ( G.P.Section) on or before 15.05.2013.The Selected candidates should produce the required documents in original at the time of the appointment .In complete, defective and applications received after due date shall not be taken into consideration . \inclusion in the merit list confers no right to appointment. NO.OF VACANCY: Category Total vacancy Men Women ST 06 04 02 Eligibility Criteria: 1. 2. 3. He /She must be a citizen of India. He /She must be a permanent resident of Rayagada district. He /She must have passed +2 Examinations in any discipline or any other examination equivalent thereof. The applicant must not be below 21 years and above 32 years of age as on 1st of January, 2013. The upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years in case of SC/ST and Women candidates, 3 years of S.E.B.C candidates and 10 years for physically handicapped persons and Ex-Servicemen, who have put in not less than six months of continuous service. He/she must be of good character He/she must be of sound health, good physique and free from organic defects, physical and mental infirmity and must be physically fit. Physically handicapped candidates who have the ability for walking, cycling and writing should only apply for the post.

He /She is able to read, write and speak Odiya and has passed the Class-Vii Examination with Odiya as a language subject or passed the High School Certificate Examination or an equivalent examination with Odiya as the medium of examination in non-language subject or passed a test in Odiya of Middle English School standard conducted by the Education Department of the Government. He /She, if married, has not more than one spouse living The candidates must have got his/her name registered in any Employment Exchange of the district on or before the date of submission of application to the Collector. He/she must not have been debarred from appearing in any other competitive examination or from holding Govt. Service as order by any competent authority. No extra weight age shall be given for higher qualification than the minimum qualification prescribed for the post. NOTE: the authority reserves the right to reject any application and modify / cancel the advertisement without assigning any reason thereof. 5. One should be pasted on the application form at the space provided for the purpose and another should be attached to the application form. Two self-addressed envelope of 25 Cms X 15 Cms with postage stamp of Rs.25/-.

The candidates shall be required to produce the original of the above said documents at the time of verification failing which he/she shall be liable to be disqualified. How to apply: Application in the prescribed form along with rerquire documents shall be submitted to the Collector, Rayagada in envelop super-scribed as APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF VILLAGE LEVEL WORKERS-2013 by registered Post/Speed Post only on or before 15.05.2013. Application forms will not be received after 5 p.m. on 15.05.2013. The authority will be no way responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit. Delivery of application form by hand would not be accepted. Application incomplete or without required documents or received late would be rejected.
