Business Card
Description: Front and back design of a business card for my portfolio site. Program(s): Adobe Illustrator. Date Completed: June 14,2013. Course: Visual Media. Eric Lybbert. Objectives: Create a new logo to fit a company or personal image. Design consistent layouts for a business card and letterhead. Use the basic tools of Illustrator & InDesign. Process: This project I chose to create a new design for my logo. I wanted some similarities but still have a new look about it. I played around with different fonts till I found a couple that I liked for the ZEllis Media part. The symbol with the Z, E, and the M in the negative space I actually created using the pen tool. So they arent fonts at all. I played around with a few different looks and in the end I had two that I liked the best. The one you see was the winner for this project but I may change it to the other one for my portfolio web site. We shall see. I then just designed it as a business card with my name and some contact info.

Logos
Description: We were to create three different logos for a fake/real business or whatever we wanted. Program(s): Adobe Illustrator. Date Completed: June 7,2013. Course: Visual Media. Eric Lybbert. Objectives: Create a variety of logos to fit a company or personal image. Use the basic tools of Illustrator. Process: For this project I mostly dealt with picking the fonts I wanted. That probably took the longest. For the symbol in the top one I just created a circle and a few other shapes and used the twirl tool to get the neat effect. For the second one I traced an image of a real camera to create the camera that I used for a d.

Brochure
