YMO - OUTPUT STATISTICAL DISTURBANCES ON ONE CIRCUIT Function Use this command to output the following data of one

trunk circuit during the current measurement period:

distribution of short disturbances distribution of frame alignment signal errors number of slips number of CRC errors.

Parameters unit identification : type of output ; Syntax Syntax

YMO: <unit type>, ( <unit index> | <stage>, <unit index> ): [ <type of output>... | <all> def ];

Parameter explanations Parameter explanations unit type Use this parameter to specify the type of the plug-in unit. The type can be ET or ETS. stage Use this parameter to specify the subscriber stage. You can give the parameter when the unit type is ETS. The parameter is a decimal (09). unit index Use this parameter to specify the unit index. The unit index is obligatory and can refer to one unit only. The parameter is a decimal. type of output Use this parameter to specify the selection of the output type. You can supply one or more output types, separated by the character &. The default is all types. The parameter can receive the following values: DIS distribution of short disturbances FRA distribution of frame alignment signal errors SLI number of slips CRC number of CRC errors Examples Examples To output all disturbances of a trunk circuit connected to the ET-14, give the 1. following command: YMO: ET,14; To output the distribution of frame alignment signal errors on a trunk circuit 2. connected to the ETS-5 in stage 2, give the following command: YMO: ETS,2,5: FRA; To output the number of slips and the distribution of short disturbances on a trunk 3. circuit connected to the ET-14, give the following command: YMO: ET,14: SLI & DIS;

To output the CRC errors, distribution of frame alignment errors, and number of slips 4. on a trunk circuit connected to the ET-28, give the following command: YMO: ET,28: CRC & FRA & SLI; Execution printouts Execution printouts The header of the output tells that the output deals with the statistical counters of trunk circuits and the values counted from the beginning of a permanent measurement period. The following data indicate the type of the exchange terminal and the start time of the permanent measurement period which is currently going on. After this the program outputs the disturbances detected during the measurement. The header of the disturbances indicates whether they are short disturbances, frame alignment signal errors, slips or CRC errors, given in this order. Only the disturbance statistics given in the command are output. Short disturbances: the first column shows the disturbance type (DISTTYPE): NOINSGN incoming signal missing AIS AIS state detected in the incoming line signal (continuous "1-state") FALOST frame alignment has been lost REMOTE alarms from remote end. If V3 supervision is active at the exchange terminal in question, the following disturbances are also included: UNINTLOOP unintentional loopback in V3 interface LOSNT1LINE NT1 has lost signal from ET FALOSTNT1T NT1 has lost signal or frame alignment from TE PWRLOSNT1 NT1 has lost power AISLT LT has received AIS signal from ET There are four counters for each disturbance type. The counters contain the number of detected disturbances, grouped on the basis of duration. Frame alignment signal errors: when the bit error ratio is calculated, the number of incorrect frame alignment signals during a certain integration time is calculated. These results are recorded in four different counters, classified on the basis of the number of incorrect frame alignment signals detected during the integration time. Slips: the program outputs the positive and negative slips detected during the past period. For the output of CRC errors the parameter table contains the following parameters indicating the availability of the circuit, specified for the local end and the remote end:

TOTAL TIME, measured total time AVAIL TIME, time of availability UNVAIL TIME, time of unavailability EFS, error-free seconds ES, seconds with errors SES, seconds with a great number of errors DM, deteriorated minutes

If V3 supervision is active at the exchange terminal in question, remote end is interpreted as NT1 and data of three additional V3-specific reference points is output. When outputting all disturbance statistics of a circuit connected to the ET-14 with the command YMO:ET,14; the program outputs the following (when V3 supervision is not

active)
PCM STATISTICS PERMANENT MEASUREMENT UNIT START TIME ET-14 1998-10-09 00:00 DISTURBANCES: DISTTYPE NOINSGN FALOST AIS REMOTE COUNTER LIMITS (MS) 10-50 50-200 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 200-1000 0 0 0 0 10000 0 0 0

When V3 supervision is active, the same command YMO:ET,14; outputs:

If any of the requested statistics is not received, or if a CRC measurement is not possible in the unit in question, the program outputs a general error code and a text describing the error situation under the header. For instance, if all disturbance statistics of the ET-14 are inquired about, but the CRC measurement is not possible in this unit, the following message is displayed:
PCM STATISTICS PERMANENT MEASUREMENT UNIT START TIME ET-14 1998-10-09 00:00 DISTURBANCES: DISTTYPE NOINSGN FALOST AIS REMOTE COUNTER LIMITS (MS) 10-50 50-200 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 200-1000 0 0 0 0 10000 0 0 0
