Description of assortment: Final products made of wood, glued wood for internal and external installation, wooden panels, flooring, staircases, thermally treated wood for wet surfaces, scantlings, made from beech, fir, spruce, ash and larch. Also hard fuels for heating like firewood, briquettes and batten for starting fire. Markets for products: 95% of our production is oriented towards exporting. Most of the exports is done towards the market of Austria, Slovenia and Croatia.

Description of the project: As our company has established itself in the markets of Austria, Slovenia and Croatia for various products from wood, in this case especially relevant hard ecological fuels for heating like firewood, briquettes and fire starter wood, only logical next step was to implement pellet production facility. Our company is located strategically near the forestry which makes buying raw materials cost efficient and capacity abundant. Moreover, we have a significant amount of our own waste from regular business that could be used as raw material for producing pellets. Furthermore, we have a lot of experience in selling pellets made by other producers in the market, which means we

understand well what the issues in the market are and what the nature of demand for pellets is. We have all the necessary infrastructure (buildings, road, electricity, water etc) where the pellet producing machinery can be installed. All the necessary legal permissions and contractual agreements for such project to be implemented and launched are either already acquired or can be easily attained at this point. Our requirement lies within acquiring the necessary technology in form of machinery for production of pellets. This includes technology for granulation of the wood, drying of the wood, pellet pressing, cooling and finally packing. However, technological specifics vary to the decision of the expert on the matter. Our goal would be to implement 1t or 2t per hour pellet production facility. Raw material we plan to use in production are mainly fir, spruce, pine (80%) and (20%) hardwood.
