Underground, SMC, Quezon Ave., Iligan city RATIONALE Jacket is a garment for the upper body usually having a front opening, collar, lapels, sleeves and pockets. A school or university jacket is important because its a sort of advertisement of St. Michaels College. Most of the students (according to our survey) want to have their own school Jacket. Knowing this fact, the researchers decided to study the feasibility of selling Saint Michaels College Jacket. GENERAL OBJECTIVE: 1. To produce customized jacket (exclusive for Michaelite). 2. To be able to start a small business and introduce a customized jacket of St. Michaels College. 3. To be able to expand the said business. 4. To enhance the entrepreneurial skill of the researchers which would help them build a stable life in the future.

2 MARKET FEASIBILTY The researchers primary target markets are students, faculty member, staff and alumni of St. Michaels College. The buyers are assured of a durable jacket. The researchers are positive towards introducing St. Michael College and starting up a small business.

SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DESIRABILITY With the advent of the demand of customized item, people are more expressive towards their moods and personalities. Now, St. Michaels College will have a jacket that will catch peoples attention. It has been said that Happiness is a state of Mind. This is what exactly the business would want to offer their prospective consumers. It does not only focus on gaining profit but as well as boosting up the consumers self esteem.

TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY HUMMER JACKET has no specific business location but the jacket will be exclusively distributed at the Go! 100 shoppe, St. Michaels College. The total cost of product Php 12, 600.00; total Operating expense Php 668.00; total labor cost PhP 6,000.00 which result to a total of the total projected cost of Php 19, 268. 00

FINANCIAL FEASIBILITY As a group, we intended to share and use our own money in a fair and square way dealing on many expenses using our own savings and our own effort to make the said project fulfil at its best outcome. On the financial study, there will be the income statement, cash flow, balance sheet and financial statement analysis. Break-even Return on Investment Payback Period = 10pcs of jacket or Php 6,200.00 = 3.04 or 304% = 3.936 or 4 months

4 INTRODUCTION As the generation pass by, more individuals are getting aware of fashion and glam world. Individuals are providing fashion and style but also a need upon making their lives a lot easier to live with. People are getting too attached with the question whats the trend today. The most common thing which is considered is wants and needs. (2011) Leopoldo, Muit, Suico, Yap (CATCH A TOTE) The researcher brought into the concept of making a feasibility study towards creation a product that has been demanded by Michaelites. This study aims to produce jacket that are carriers the name of the school.

5 PRODUCT St. Michaels College Jacket is desirable because of its own design and its made from adidas fabric whose designs represent our school. The colour of the jacket its a combination of a white and blue. The back of the jacket printed as Michaelite, and the front left of the jacket printed the logo of the St. Michaels College. MARKET ENVIRONMENT Jackets had been accepted nowadays as one of the most comfortable clothes to use because of it general advantages. People will prefer to use this kind of jacket due to the affordability and quality itself. At the same time, jacket can be used in a variety of purposes depending on the weather condition, like, when its hot and when its cold. The production of SMC JACKET will have higher potentials in earning profits because the design, quality and price itself fit with the target markets needs and wants. TARGET MARKET Saint Michaels Colleges Jacket main target markets are the Students, Faculty members, Staff and Alumni of the school. The jacket with its customized design will be a good promotional strategy to advertise St. Michaels College.

6 COMPETITION HUMMER JACKET has no competitor, because this is the only one who will introduce it to the market. MARKETING AND SALES STRATEGIES Product HUMMER JACKET will produce a customized jacket that is customer oriented. This means that the business will produce jacket which is not basing on the price alone but to create jacket on quality and design which most customer prefer to have. In todays generation especially with the projected target market, people are getting more aware of the concept of having lesser expenditures by purchasing product and goods on quality wise perspectives. Thus, HUMMER JACKET will give customer satisfaction by providing them a great design that performs its best use to its utmost potentials through product quality.

Promotion: We promote our product through tarpaulin ads and also networking sites by the facebook page will be showcasing our product.

8 Respondent Our group did some survey in-order to see if the students, faculty, staff and even the alumni of St. Michaels College would take an interest on our proposed SMC JACKET and also in-order to get some suggestion regarding the development and improvement of our product. Table 1 show that 74% of the respondents are 21 years old or known as the young adult who embrace the new trends in terms of fashion nowadays.

Table 2 shows the gender of our respondent, the male has a percentage of 43% while female has a percentage of 57%. These means that female more appreciate the customized product.

FORM OF BUSINESS ORGANIZATION As agreed upon, the business will be in the form of sole proprietorship which considered the simplest form relative to its process and requirements. Sole proprietorship is the most common form of a business entity even in this days simply because it requires less credentials and complexities compared to the other form of business organization. The owner of the business Ms. Maymay Sarip will be taking on the full responsibility and accountability in terms of the organizations sales growth and deficit. Thus, being the only owner of the business entity, she acquires the full autonomy in any business decisions which greatly affects the business as a whole.

MANAGEMENT RULES AND REGULATIONS HUMMER JACKET is a form of business specialized for jacket distribution to some outlet. As a business entity, the management should create certain rules and regulations which serve as a guideline for the business organization and its whole process. This guideline serves as a direction the business daily tasks. Rules and regulations do not intend to restrict any personal rights but to facilitate a better understanding of its scope and limitations pertaining to the specifics of the business. The management rules and regulations aim to achieve the following but are not limited to: 1. Build a good reputation and relationship with the sales outlet by exerting efforts towards achieving quality output in the internal organization. 2. Ensures the quality of enduring process by keeping the organization informed and directed about the details of their job through the guidelines given. As we study and conduct surveys about our feasibility study, we experience things that we havent experienced yet, trials that we encounter and challenges. The name of our business is HUMMER JACKET. It is a customized jacket. We decided to name it because our product we are selling is particularly originated from our school. We choose this kind of business because we want to share our product to every michaelite. We assured our customers will love to buy our product because of its appearance and good quality. In this kind of business have the capability to gain profit. As we go on, we are able to face all the trials and make it as an inspiration to push through and become a successful businessman in the future.
