Presentation :
The Big Bang Theory is an American sitcom created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Brady. It premiered
on CBS on September 24, 2007.
There are five main characters : two roommate geniuses called Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon
Cooper. They are both physicists. Penny happens to be their neighbour across the hall, she is a
waitress and aspires to become an actress. And the two last protagonists are Howard Wolowitz, an
areospace engineer and Rajesh Koothrappali, an astrophysicist. They are Leonard and Sheldon's
friends and also co-workers.
The geekiness and intellect of the four guys is constrasted for comic effect with Penny's social skills
and common sense.
