With the coming of the New Year, our plans to return to the Philippines are taking shape. TM fare from Joplin was quoted at $4300 for oxir family, but we think we can get a less e:q)ensive fare through our travel agent and are checking on that now. Be praying with us that we'll receive vrtiat we need.
We've just received the information we've been waiting for regarding the encroUment of our children at Faith Academy this year. We MUST mail the
required advance fees by February 1$240 for registration ($10.00 each) and boarding deposit ($50.00 each) for our four children. We expect a 25^ increase.

CHILDREN'S NEEDS; All foiar of our older children will be attending Faith Academy
about $500 (some churches give a percentage rather than a set amount). We need $700 a month if we are to pay their tuition,
board and room at Faith Academy. Besides this, the Academy requires a fee of $200 per child, payable in installments due in October and January.
WORK IN APARRI;
Sid plans to spend most of his time in the radio ministry, using Filipino preachers and helping in the follow-up work. Four churches
have been established as a direct result of the one broadcast already
service link to help share in the work already going on, and to be . put in-the jadio ministry. Marj will continue to teach in the Aparri Bible Seminary and work as registrar, dean, coxmsellor, and mother of five. Your prayers for our spiritual growth and wisdom in doing His work are greatly needed. We want Him to lead us to do what He wants. We really praise God for the recent news we've had from Aparri. Some of our first graduates from the Christian high schools will be graduating from the Aparri Bible Sem inary February 21; Jose, Quirino, and Felipe have a3jready shown themselves to be mature
Christian leaders and good preachers. Our Filipino "son," Rogelio Tenorio, writes that he is hoping to transfer from the Christian high school he's now teaching in to one that
will be established soon. He writes: "I know the place would be ideal for evangelism. I want to be a missionary in that place where no church has been established.'* We are looking forward to returning to work with people like Rogelio, Jose, Quirino, and Felipe.

Dear Fellow-Christians,
Howard, OH
43028
As 2,000 or more Americans seek to leave South Viet Nam to preserve their lives, we seek the funds to return to the Philippines and continue the Lord's
work there while this freedom, which is diminishing in other Southeast Asian countries, remains intact. Bible Seminary June 9. We want to be back for the opening of the Aparri
until 1976; Ann Tolliver and Barbara Mangskau will have to shoulder the respon
sibility for opening the Seminary unless we can leave here by the end of May.
Our need for travel funds is acute! Our departure date is dependent upon
our having the $3,600 needed for car expenses to California and plane tickets
to Aparri. It will be almost impossible to get one of the low-cost air-fares
from the West Coast to Manila unless we can make our reservations early; the
borrow the money as we did once before, nor avail ourselves of the Fly-now-Paylater Plan. We are claiming the Lord's promises to supply our needs; we ask you to join us in trusting the Lord for our travel funds.
We rejoice that the Lord's Reapers and other Christian friends have given
$581 towards payment of the children's school expansion fee; we have good reason to believe that all of the $1,000 required (it was raised to $250 per child) will
be received before our payment is due in July.
In the meantime we are packing cartons of clothing for Filipinos, packing some of our own possessions for mailing, preparing for speaking engagements, and preparing
full steam ahead to leave Joplin May 26.
Praise the Lord and rejoice with us for the 17 young people who accepted Christ 4uring the Intermediate and Junior Camps in Aparri this month. We'll be hearing
more exciting news about the Senior Camp which ended on April 19.
Pray for the church in the Philippines. Now it seems more urgent than ever
that we train Filipinos who can preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in other countries.
Yours in Christ,

The time for us to leave is coming closer. It*s just about all we can think about: the preparations of sorting and packing and mailing, the necessary shots and documents, the last-minute dinners with friends, hurried letters to our co-workers assuring them of our return, and prayers that God will provide all we
need and guide us in our decisions*

Three youth camps in Aparri in May saw more than 17 young people immersed into Christ as they accepted Him as Savior. Students and teachers from the Seminary are out evangelizing this summer, and we are eager to hear the reports of their work when we return. Do continue to pray for our work in the Philippines that our co-workers may continue to grow in leadership and Christisin maturity, and that doors to evangelism
may remain open for years to come.
God bless you in your labors for Him. It is great to work with our wonderful loving Fathera real privilege to serve Him.

The Lord has really blessed us with gifts for our children's education.

May 26th will forever remain in our minds as an indistinct blur of packing, sorting, packing always with more in the next room to be packed. Without the kind help of the
Messimers who let us use their home as a refreshment and rest station for the weekend;
the Rushes who provided a pick-up and help in moving loaned furniture; the Wilsons who provided a delicious noon meal and Jon, Tim, and Joy who actually helped pack; Brother Fields who mailed cartons for us; plus other friends we wouldn t have been able to

Bob and Louise Stockberger met us for a few minutes' precious fellowshipLouise and Marj would have gone on talking indefin

Because we couldn't all get reservations the same day, Berta, Scott and Jamie made the trip to Aparri via Tuguegarao Friday and the rest of our family followed Saturday a.m. We had a great welcome from our Christian brethren here, and we are happy to be back.
Classes began at the Aparri Bible Seminary Jvne 17. Our enrollment is lower than in previous year, 82, but we pray that those vdio have come are dedicated to learning the Word

Dear Brethren,
October began well--during our semester break 142 high school students and teachers confessed Jesus as Lord at our two Christian high schools. Our
Seminary teachers and the preachers who participated came back filled with excitement and praises to God. Enrollment for 2nd semester started Oct. 13
and we welcomed the Manuels from Mountain Province, the couple I told you about our September letter. Henry & Julita Manuel stayed with us until a small room could be partitioned off the kindergarten downstairs for them to use. This week their son, Dionisio, will accompany another student, Leonardo Fangonan,
back to his home in Mountain Province. Leonardo's father has a rare incurable
disease, and Leonardo can hardly sleep at night for his concern--all he can think of is the need to go and talk to his father about the lord. So we are allowing the boys to go home early; they must go together in case they have to hike two days. Dionisio was planning to return during Christmas vacation anyway to teach the children in his village. He is a 17 year-old Pied Piper possessing unbelievable amounts of love and patience for children with only an occasional streak of orneriness to make me know he's very human. Pe praying for Leonardo's fatherfor his healing and his salvation.
"WhileSid and I were in Manila the last of October we attended the operetta,
H.M.S. pinafore at Faith Academy in which Scott played the Captain, a leading role. Howproud we were of him and his singing ability! This month Jamie went with other Boy Scouts to a football game at Subic Naval Base--a real treat for these American boys. Sharon, learning how to cook in Home Ec, made cookies for us when we were at the McKinneys in Manila; fortunately Lorrita added flour to the thin batter for Sharon had used what she thought was flour but was in reality powdered sugar. The cookies were eaten up, though, I want you to know! Berta has really enjoyed being in the Madrigals and Guys singing group at Faith and is excitedly planning for the singing tour they'll make on the "\Aest Coast immediately
after school is out on April 30th. Right now we need $368 forherfare THIS MONTH so that money can be saved on an expected 10% fare increase.
Since Barb Mangskau left in November to return to the U.S. to live, Marj
has been teaching English along with Greek and Thessalonians; Rebecca Lop^z
very ably took over the preparation of the choir for their Christmas program. The choir will go to several churches near-by, and Rebecca is frantically busy handling all the details of travel. She's doing a splendid job, too.
We appreciate very much all of your prayers in our behalf and know that it is God working through you that enable:s the Kingdom to grow here.
In Christ,
