Optimum Position Advice


Optimum position view is the main view in RMS Always present and continuously updated, reflecting present operating conditions Shows graphical symbols of vessel, wellhead, watch circles and optimum position

RMS Time to go function predicts available time for initiating emergency disconnect in case of drift off caused by a blackout or worst single failure event DP system identifies the worst single failure that would cause the most severe drift off scenario DPs motion prediction module performs an estimate on resulting drift off path Based on drift off path, RMS calculates riser response during drift off
