COMPETITION RULES:

1. Entering this competition constitutes acknowledgement that PCAV rules apply and acceptance of these rules. 2. The organizing committee reserves the right to cancel any class or competition; divide any class; alter times; refuse any entry with or without stating the reason. 3. No refunds on unused tickets. 4. Neither the organizing committee of this competition nor the PCAV accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other person or property. 5. For Pony Club members, PCAV club member cards must be inspected at the event ofce before riding. 6. Medical armbands must be worn by all competitors in Pony Club and Open rings. 7. All riders must wear complying helmets. Spot checks to ensure compliance may occur. 8. Gear check is compulsory for all pony club and open competitors. 9. Queries, protests, horse abuse rules as per the PCAV Handbook of By-laws. 10. Dogs are prohibited without exception. 11. Horses must be at least 4 years old, no stallions, colts or rigs. 12. PCAV lungeing policy applies. 13. FOR OPEN COMPETITORS. Before riding, all open competitors must sign a day attendance form and pay a $10 day attendance fee if they cannot produce their current PC or EV membership cards.

High Point awards for pony club members: A high point trophy/Rug will be awarded in the pony club ring this is awarded on an accumulation of points gained in events in the same ring as follows: 3 points for 1st place; 2 points for 2nd place; 1 point for 3rd place.

Directions to Longwood Recreation Reserve

Longwood is between Avenel and Euroa on the Hume Highway. From Melbourne, take the west-bound (left) turn off to Longwood. From Euroa (north of Longwood) Turn right onto the Longwood (Depot Road) off the freeway. Do not take the rst turn off for Longwood (Old Longwood).

Travel approx 2kms, the Longwood Recreation Reserve is on the right. Come through the stone gates and follow the signs.
