Lets Do It Again

"And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples, And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him. And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need

of him; and straightway he will send him hither. And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him. And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt? And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go. And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him. And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way. And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord: Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest. And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve." Mark 11:1-11 Jesus gave the disciples simple instructions. Go to the house where you will find a young colt. Bring him to me. Tell the people, "The Lord has need of this." God knew that we needed Him, for we have forgotten our first love. Jesus had the right to be adorned in the finest clothing. He had the authority to put everything into place to worship Him. Every living thing could have been worshipping Him with His arrival, but he chose to come on a cold and in ordinary clothing. He came into town not representing himself, but the Father, for you and for me. What is the purpose of Palm Sunday? We can celebrate by adorning ourselves in nice garments and decorate the church, but it all means NOTHING if you don't remember in your heart what it all really means. You don't have a right to look down on anybody; to put your mouth on anybody; to think that you are where you are on your own. Somebody (not necessarily your kinfolk) paved the way for you. Back when you first got saved, you were on fire, where's that fire now? we ought to have the same fire now as we did back then. We need to appreciate what God gives us. God is waiting for us to look after those who cannot look after themselves. We need to realize that what we have does not belong to us any way, it ALL belongs to God. All that we have has been entrusted to us by God. We should be repenting daily. Do what you did when you first got saved. If you don't remember where your gifts came from, God will remove them. When was the last time that you did something for someone without being paid for it or expecting praise? "Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted." Galatians 6:1 We ought to look out for each other. When is the last time that we've had each others' back? Spirit of meekness (it's just between you and that person)-you don't go bragging about what you did.

We also need to repent to God about all of those private thoughts that we have or had. It takes each of us to pave the way for the Holy Spirit to dwell
