Champion Agro Ltd is a leading Agro Retail Company that has introduced the concept of Agro retail malls in Gujarat. Company has set up 34 agro clinics in short span of three years. This chain of agro centers served as one stop shop for farmers by providing Agri-Inputs, Farm Machinery, Cattle Feed and other agri allied products. Under the umbrella of services, company provides agronomic services including soil testing, crop inspection, weather forecasts and advisory services on farm credit, crop loan, life insurance and medical Insurance etc. The company is pioneered in providing quality fresh produce to the market through its subsidiary Champion Agro Fresh and has diversified itself in the line of Contract farming for Baby corn, Banana, Pomegranate and other Horticulture products as well as wheat and oilseeds.

In its endeavour to be a complete agriculture solutions provider, the company had introduced its own retail chain of Agribusiness centers and Agri-clinics under the brand name of Champion Agro World. This chain serves farmers by facilitating their all agricultural needs and provides free agricultural consultancy services ranging from sowing to harvesting of crops. The retail chain of Agro centers act as a one-stop-shop for farmers.

The company plans to scale up the existing 34 centers to 400 centers all across India within coming 3 years along with 20 district level malls, agri excellence centers & integrated storage facilities which will become hub as well as connecting point for nearby centers at the proposed project cost of Rs. 6486.50 Million. The company also plans for strategic set up of cold chain facilities at five places namely Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Bharuch and Navsari. In short, company aims to provide exhaustive services pack to the farmers and it has a vision of reaching at that stage.

In the due course of time, the company has diversified its portfolio and ventured into processing of fresh Fruits and Vegetables with its brand Champion Fresh along with the contract farming and horticulture parks. The company had also developed Indias smallest, modern and most economic tractor which acts as all in-one for farmers. Additionally, it would also set up 10 cold storages for agricultural products.

1990 -1994 Established as a partnership firm in the name of Magnetic Electric Co. and started business of manufacturing submersible pumps, mono block pumps, heavy duty electric motors and various types of agriculture pumps.

1994-2005 Constituted as Private Limited Company and developed new products range including turbine pump set which runs without electricity. Started export in the same year. 2005-2008 Came up with a unique business model concept of retail chain of Agro Clinics and Agro Business Centers in 2005. Magnetic Electrical Pvt Ltd was converted in to public ltd and was renamed as Magnetic Industries Ltd. 2008-2010 In 2009, 100% subsidiary of the company, Champion Agro Fresh Pvt. Ltd is launched to cater the need of fresh and processed food industry. In 2010, 34 agro centers were catering to 50K happy customer all over Saurashtra Company was again renamed as Champion Agro Ltd. with prime focus on Agri and allied services. Agro sector of India has never ever taste professional culture so far, that is why I say that Agro sector of India is just born. Segmentation of land, lack of scientific knowledge and illiteracy at micro level were the major issues of early Agro Economy in India. Initiatives of nation at macro level were not so fruitful and effective at micro level as a result an Indian entrepreneurs a farmers, witnessed only troublesome revolution rather green revolution. Banana

Company has launched Grand Nine variety of Bananas with a brand name of Chemical Free-Champion Bananas which is an industry first. We ripe bananas with hygienic process as per internationally approved standardswhich are grown through contract farming. Hundreds of farmers use natural and eco-friendly farming practices to produce Indias best Banana. Due to our specialized hygienic ripening process Champion Bananas retains its natural nutritive value with original flavors and aroma.

Mango Mangoes are known as the king of fruits. Everybody loves to relish mango because of its rich taste and healthy juice that provide refreshing energy to the body. "Kesar" Mango is the queen of mangoes widely grown in the Gujarat state of India. It has a unique sweet taste. Kesar is characterized by its golden color with green overtones.

Champion Kesar Mangoes are carbide free mangoes which are ultimate in taste, containing no harmful, sub-standard preservatives that may degrade the essential flavor. We ripe mangoes with internationally approved hygienic method which is duly approved by APEDA. The company is also having its own horticulture farm in 1000 acre land for pomegranate cultivation. Baby Corn

Champion Baby Corn is hand-picked and packed on the same day in pack house where humidity and temperature is controlled to ensure freshness, every time, with the right level of maturity for that right degree of sweetness and crunch. The cobs are harvested just when silken tassels start appearing. This ensures that the Baby Corn cobs are just right and ready-to-eat. Champion Baby Corn can be eaten raw with a spicy or a tangy dip or eaten as the classic snack golden fried Baby Corn; used primarily in Asian and Oriental cuisine, it has now found its way to several continental salads.

Our quality department inspects the quality of the fruit and vegetables on the farms before it is supplied, and provides technical assistance to our suppliers on request. Each farmer is supplied with a detailed marketing plan and packing guide before their season begins. Also, periodic pack house inspections are done that monitors the quality of the packed products and accordingly the relevant information is conveyed to the farmer, as well as to our marking department. Champion Agro Fresh Pvt. Ltd. is a premium supplier of fresh quality produce like mango, pomegranate, banana, baby corn etc. with a brand name of Champion Fresh to the domestic and overseas market. The company has invested considerable resources in the state of Gujarat (Saurashtra region), where it has growing operations via contract farming. The company occupies hundreds of farmers for its Group Contract farming of products, which helped company in acquiring more than 2500 acre of land. At Champion Fresh, there are is an only selected crops which are being offered to the farmers under contract farming module namely Baby Corn. Along with the baby corn, the company is also entering into the contract farming of banana in the state.
