WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
Walk-in-interview will be held on the following dates: 04-07-2013 at 10.00 AM for Business Manager 05.07.2013 at 10 AM for Research Associate and Senior Research Fellow and 06.07.2013 at 10 AM for office assistant at Central Potato research Station, Nakodar Road, Jalandhar for engagement of above mentioned personnel to work on contractual basis in the time-bound project, Business Planning and Development Unit, CPRI, Shimla under Component-1 of the National Agricultural Innovation Project (NAIP), on a consolidated monthly remuneration. The duration of contractual engagement of manpower is co-terminus with the project: Post BUSINESS MANAGER Rs.70,000/Per month (fixed) No. of post(s) One (01) Duration Upto 31 March, 2014 (likely to continue), and co-terminus with the project Educational Qualifications 1) Essential: Graduate in Agriculture with MBA Agri-business/Two year PG Diploma in Agriculture/Rural- Business Management. More than three years of experience in business development. 2) Desirable: Experience in Agri-business planning and negotiations, IPR issues, technology valuation, patent search and proficiency in use of statistical software packages. 3) Work Profile: Work includes understanding and preparing business plans for commercializing NARS technologies (technology valuation, advertisement and finding potential buyers) negotiations with various stakeholders for completion of proposals, documentation, organizing workshops, trainings and meetings and other works as assigned by PI and Co-PIs. 4) Will report to project team. 1) Essential: M.Sc/Ph.D in any discipline of Agriculture/allied sciences/ Botany 2) Desirable: MBA/PG Diploma in Agribusiness/Technology Management / IPR . Experience in. Two years experience in research/ technology valuation. 3) Work Profile: Compilation of studies and cases in entrepreneurship development and incubation, technology valuation and commercialization, forecasting and policy issues. Collection and analysis of data related to above and other aspects of BPD and TMEFC and report writing.

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE Rs.24,000/per month plus HRA (for Ph.D) and Rs.23,000/ Per month plus HRA (for PG)

Other works as assigned by PI and Co-PIs. Essential: MSc in Agriculture and allied Sciences/Botany Desirable: well versed in Tissue Culture Techniques/Biotechnology .Two years research experience in relevant stream. Work Profile: For assisting in managing the FPO, skill based entrepreneurs and seed business

1) Essential: Graduate with good knowledge of Computer software like MS Word, MS Excel. Typing speed 40 wpm or more in English. 2) Desirable: Knowledge of accounting and office procedures, Hindi typing. 3) Duties: Office correspondence, filing management, accounts related work and any other work assigned by PI and Co-PIs from time to time.

AGE LIMIT : Men : 40 years & Women : 45 years (relaxable to SC/ST/OBC & PH as per Government of India rules). The candidates fulfilling the above criteria may appear for interview along with their bio-data and original certificates with a set of copies of the same. Candidates reporting after 10.00 AM will not be considered for the Walk-In-Interview. The selected candidates will have to join immediately and NO TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview or to join duties.
