Dear Mr./Ms. President/Chair/Head: Pax! The ALSP, Inc. is a federation of 67 law schools in the country established in 1989. It is a registered association with the Securities and Exchange Commission, an accredited organization by the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), Supreme Court and the National Youth Commission under the Office of the President. On April 24 to 27 (Tuesday to Friday), 2012, we will be having our 23rd National Convention with the theme Tackling Deficiencies in the Philippine Mining Law and Policies at the Ateneo de Davao University, Davao City. The National Board has already prepared an amended version but to be able to better take on this years theme, each ALSP Regional Board will also be required to submit their proposed amended version of the Philippine Mining Act of 1995. Attached in this letter is a guideline and a compilation of all resource materials for your convenience. Each ALSP Regional Board has full discretion to assign the research work to any law student/s who may or may not attend the National Convention. It is highly encouraged that there be an amended version submitted by each Regional Board. In this regard, we would like to invite your law student government or council (LSG) to participate in the said event. The registration fee is only Three Thousand Five Hundred (Php 3,500.00) Philippine Currency, inclusive of accommodation, kits and transportation from the bus terminal to the venue. In addition to this, the membership fee of your LSG is One Thousand (Php1,000.00) Philippine Currency based on our Constitution.

Also attached in this invitation letter is the registration form. Kindly bring your authorization signed by your Dean or President, Chairperson or Head of your Law Student Council/Government/ Lex Circle/ Association of Law Students that you are the Head Delegate of your school. You may wish to extend your stay until the 29th and see the world famous tourist destinations in the city! However, the registration fee will no longer cover your extension.
