LOGIC MODEL Worksheet

Name of Program: ___World Cultures Youth Experience_

Situation:
The United States of America is in the midst of a major demographic surge in immigrant populations from South America and Asia, while the “Baby Boomer” popula-
tion is contributing to the graying of America. There are challenges created by multiple languages and cultures, in schools, the workplace, communities and neighbor-
hoods. Preparing young people to make positive experiences out of these challenges is the goal of the World Cultures Youth Experience. The World Cultures Youth
Experience will provide youth with experiences in immersing in a new language, culture, foods, and music. They will also interact with youth who have immigrated to
America and gain a better understanding of their experiences and difficulties assimilating into life in America. This interaction and shared experience will help immi-
grants and non-immigrants to have a better understanding of eachother.
