The beginning of the war:

The civil war started on 1861 when president 
Abraham Lincoln became president. After the success 
of president Lincoln the south was trying to become 
its own country. They didn’t like the idea of 
freedom of the slaves………
The country spitted in two parts the north and the 
south. The different ideas of both sides lead to 
the war between both sides. There was a lot of 
chaos on the north and south and this was because 
of the families and the soldiers that get hurt. 
Several thousands of people died on the attacks but 
the half of them died after the amputation of three 
limbs because of the low hygiene founded on the 
hospitals of those times.
Narrator (Elizabeth)

It is 1862 and the civil war had just started 
there is chaos on all the cities on south and on 
the north.
Dr. Boswell was helping Diego bringing somebody 
down the stairs.

Dr. Boswell
“We have another wounded!! Everybody hurry up. 
Bring some wet towels.”

Dr. Bennit
“What happened?”
Diego
 “He got shot in his leg and is losing a lot of 
blood. He needs medical help fast!”

Dr Boswell
“Alexandra!!! Get 2 other nurses and quickly.”
Dr Bennit
“We are going to have to amputate his leg.”
Bill
“Do what ever is necessary but just relief this 
pain from me.”

Narrator

“Johnny and Daniel were waiting in the hall. They 
had bad wounds made from shots on the war.”

Dr Bennit
 “Why are there so many wounded?”
Dr Boswell

“It seems that there was just a fight”

Daniel
“It hurts. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!”

Johnny
“Can I at least have a bath”?

Narrator
“A little water to drink or the bathing of 
their wounds seemed to afford them the greatest 
relief.”
