Improve decisions using actionable information

Meeting your daily challenges requires actionable information to be available to all levels of your organization so that you can make decisions based on real-time information. With a FactoryTalk-enabled automation system, you simply program tags, save the project, and then reference the tags anywhere in the system. Many tags are created for you automatically, and you can use those controller tags directly in the Human Machine Interface (HMI) without creating a separate HMI database. RSView Enterprise is built on the FactoryTalk common services framework, allowing application information to be shared across the enterprise. FactoryTalk provides access to a common address book of searchable references to resources stored anywhere across a distributed system, offering the benefits of central data storage without the risk of a single point of failure. It allows you to reference existing Logix data tags throughout the system, eliminating the need to recreate them. Tags can reside on a single computer or on multiple computers connected to a network. FactoryTalk also collects and places data and manages connections, providing fast, reliable, real-time data transfer.

For process control and batch applications, the Logix control platform provides a highly scalable control solution. Large applications with thousands of I/O points are easily handled by the ControlLogix platform, while smaller applications can be cost-effectively controlled by our CompactLogix and FlexLogix platforms. INTEGRATION
Complete your automation solution with one partner to supply and support your control platform and compatible field devices. Take advantage of the Integrated Architecture benefits with Logix controllers and other Allen-Bradley products for ease of integration and reduced maintenance, repair and downtime. For instance, you can choose the NetLinxbased network that best suits your needs without worrying about I/O or drive connectivity. Reduce your programming, engineering, and troubleshooting time with the re-use of tags, eliminate code with advanced diagnostics and directly view monitoring screens with RSView.
IntelliCENTER pre-program displays import into RSView, or any ActiveX container for easy analysis. Simplify your design and installation with built-in DeviceNet. IntelliCENTER MCCs connect all internal devices with DeviceNet. Capture new information, allowing predictive maintenance, process monitoring and advanced diagnostics.

ENJOY PREMIER INTEGRATION WITH INTEGRATED ARCHITECTURE

The family of PowerFlex AC Drives uses the same understandable tag names for parameters as do the I/O devices with existing NetLinx connectivity, all from a shared database, to result in automatic creation of structures.

Monitor, control and display information graphically to quickly understand your applications status with PanelView Plus. Take advantage of automatically created structures for diagnostic use in the Logix program or HMI.

FLEX I/O provides advanced diagnostics and status to eliminate code and reduce programming time. Reuse tag structures between controller, HMI, I/O and drives.

Lower system costs, easier maintenance, and simplified system installation can be realized with Kinetix integrated in certain Logix controllers. Kinetix motion control information is seamlessly integrated into the tag and FactoryTalk features of the Logix system.

Automatic reconfiguration on DeviceNet is possible with the POINT I/O Auto Device Replacement (ADR) feature to ease maintenance and repair and speed the replacement process. Keep your system running when it is necessary to replace modules with Removal and Insertion Under Power (RIUP).
