concrete work in locations called for including strutting, propping, bracing, bolting, wedging, casing, striking, removal etc. complete for any size, section, thickness. Props shall consist of well designed steel pipes adequately braced (wooden bailies as props shall not be permitted). The item to include Centering and shuttering at all heights and levels. (Execution will start on approval of shop drawings of the formwork system.) Allow for forming grooves, drip course, chamfers, cut-outs, openings etc. where called for and for dressing with approved shuttering oil to prevent adhesion. Unexposed concrete surfaces subsequently left untreated (in the condition obtained on removal of form work) shall not constitute exposed concrete work and shall be measured under this item only. Irregular shapes with sides which may not be perpendicular to each other for shapes not conforming to rectangle or square shall not be paid separately, (quoted rate to include all staging up to any height less than 6.0mtr). Note: For basement parking area slab only ply shuttering will be allowed

Providing Centering/ shuttering/ formwork for below mentioned items by using Ply form work / steel sheet with shuttering oil, nails, coupler & ledger arrangement at all levels, waterproof marine grade ply wood of required thickness, form work inclusive of all applicable MS pipes for supporting and all other required to give rigid and strong formwork for pouring of concrete etc., complete as per specification Contractors shall submit shop drawings showing the details of form work (shuttering) for beams, slabs, columns, retaining walls, shear walls and all other structural elements along with design calculations. The formwork design shall be duly approved by a structural consultant. Contractors shall submit shop drawings as per the specification showing the scheme of formwork (shuttering) for all items of work detailed as under. Formwork designed with proposed materials (to be approved prior to making) shall be able to retain its shape, line, dimension, level within the allowable limits of variations. Props shall be only steel props should be covered in specification. Necessary arrangement shall be envisaged to provide camber in beams or slabs as per specification.
