Chester was born and reared in Jas

per County (Gillham Township), In


diana. In May, 1932, he obeyed the

Gospel at Medaryville, Indiana, where


his horhe church is located. He is the fifth of a family of seven boys. His

grade school education was received


in a one-room school and he was grad uated from Medaryville, Indiana, High
School in 1939.

After high school days, he remained


out of school for a time to work in the muck fields near his home. Then he entered Butler University in Indian-

Bachelor of Arts degree in 1945. He
has finished'his work for his Bachelor

of Divinity degree from the School of Religion of Butler University.


Chester has ministered to churches

in Francesville, Indiana, for four and a half years, Michigantown, Indiana, for four years, and Delphi, Indiana, since June 1, 1949. He resigned his ministry at Delphi to accept the call
to the work of Christ in India.

Martha A. Parker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Kendall of Route 4, Kokomo, Indiana, was born in Howard County, where she received her grade and high school education in the How ard Township Consolidated School. At the age of twelve, Martha was bap
