Anatomy Of Northern Skies by The Individualist

What Northern Skies Is

Northern Skies is not a forum dedicated to its best interests to the community or spirit. Unlike other forums Northern Skies follows a stanch isolationist doctrine. No other forum is allowed to affiliate with Northern Skies on grounds which are unknown, and when asked sometimes the question would be avoided. The second, they do not have a proper advertising area for other fellow individuals in the community to freely advertise there forum, however, advertising certain sections is allowed following regulation...
Please do not advertise any offsite forum or website without prior approval of the staff. This includes harassing members via Personal Message, Email, or forum posts/topics to entice or pressure the reader into joining. An exception to this rule are links that lead to any websites that are affiliated with Northern Skies (except links that lead to downloads). Proper conduct of advertisement allows for a banner image or link in the profile signature, or you may also post a topic in our designated "Other Websites" board. Please note that your submission to this board is subject to approval.

Individuals must have approval by there staff in order to advertise any forum or website that is not part of Northern Skies property, this includes the barring of advertising through other methods such as private messaging and emails, yes, even the barring of advertisements through emails which are offsite as well. If however, the forum or website is affiliated with Northern Skies or is property of the site then these rules do not apply. This concludes that Northern Skies has put into place protectionist rules to attempt to embargo advertisment of any other forums, while it is condemned by administration it is still done, there is no stop to such acts. While Northern Skies has put into place regulations to further crush advertisement of other forums they also have certain restrictions to what is discussed. The most important, is intellectual criticism, they find this offensive and perhaps count as a violation of there rules, this crushes the voice of the

individual who is part of the community to voice minor opposition to the rules and perhaps staff of the forum. The other restriction is the discussion of politics or religion. Individuals in the community who propose to discuss in a respective and observing environment and manner in terms of politics or religion has been practised on the forum before, as successful as they doubt they closed off all discussion, while not all staff agreed to the notion the centre elites closed off all discussion or negotiations to bring back the topic. In conclusion, Northern Skies has isolated themselves from the community, the former spirit that opened up all gates to friendship, honest trade and cooperation has been oppressed by the regulations set fourth by the staff, the individuals themselves see through the charade, but they are oppressed of speaking in opposition or they themselves, would become closed up.

What Northern Skies Is Not

Northern Skies is not a open and cooperating forum, as part of its isolationist principles it bars itself from the outside from other forums willing to open up to them, they decline these measures for a unknown reason. It furthers itself to crush the original spirit the community once stood for. Other forums follow the opposite path by opening up itself to affiliation and cooperation, by having staff from all other forums come together to help and progress. This is a disadvantage for Northern Skies because it further harms there productivity and relations with other forums and individuals. The forum is not open to much criticism or ideas, yes, general ideas and suggestions are allowed but they condone ones that further expand there forum rather then shrinking it. The discussion to other topics that the staff may fear is also a disadvantage to off-topic and entertaining discussion, it forces the individuals on the forum to only speak of certain topics which are suitable, even ones that do not commit such a aggression against others or staff.

What Northern Skies Fears

The forum fears that, if they do not regulate there members to the extreme measures they put they will see a deep decrease and disloyalty to the staff and official design team designated to them. To lose there popularity and to see less interest in there work that they put in by there fellow members. To fear that they may come under attack by outside people that they may dislike or hate them. Or to be crush them with other competition from designers and other staff with there forums as advertised. To fear that people may find out the truth about there past, to be exposed of who they really are. To fear that if they all don't come to accordance with each other the forum would split, or enter a war internally. But is this true? Clearly with what this forums members and staff have gone through the past, a lot of this, is indeed, true.

What Northern Skies May Consider

Northern Skies at this point has a chance to derail its movement down this destructive path. The first thing it can do is open its boarders to everyone in the community, other well known forums have done this, still are. With open cooperation between forums productivity and friendship would skyrocket, joint-projects, festivals, advertisement and other great ideas may pour all over the community with less isolationism involved. The second thing it can also take into consideration is becoming a bit more liberal about there regulations, by lessening there rules on advertisements and discussions members will freely visit other forums and share information about them, and even advertise there own. Members will also learn more about each other with the more freedom to discuss topics they wish to bring up without the aggression against others. But most importantly, to always be honest, and have a good attitude. Friendship, Honest Trade, and Cooperation.
