C D E F Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFW) Scheme shall be applicable to all approved Technical Institutions offering Bachelor Programs of Three/Four years duration Seats up to maximum of 5 percent of sanctioned intake per course shall be available for these admissions. These seats shall be supernumerary in nature. The Competent Authority for admissions shall be the same as for regular admissions The scheme shall be mandatory for all institution approved by the council. Eligibility Sons and daughters of parents whose annual income is less than Rs.4.50 lakhs from all sources shall only be eligible for seats under this scheme. The waiver is limited to the tuition fee as approved by the State Level Fee committee for self-Financing institutions. All other fee except tuition fees will have to be paid by the beneficiary. In the event of non-availability of students in this category, the same shall not be given to any other category of applicants. State Admission authority shall invite applications under this category; make a separate merit list for this category and effect admission on the basis of the merit list so generated. The Institution shall publish in their brochure and website the details of this scheme. Competent Authority for admission shall submit a separate list of students admitted under this category to the institute to which they are admitted for compliance.

Phase I S.No 1 Description List of Candidates who opted for AICTE TFW Authority TNEA, Anna University Procedure i. Candidates attending Counseling under Government quota through single window counseling will give their option for fee concession under AICTE TFW scheme at the time of Counseling. ii. In respect of candidates who opted for AICTE TF. Income certificate issued by the Revenue authority will be verified by TNEA. iii. Accordingly the list of eligible candidates who opted AICTE TFW in the institution in which they are allotted will be furnished branch wise/merit wise (cut-off mark) to the institution concerned by TNEA, Anna University, Chennai-25 at the end of counseling.

Phase II 2 Selection of candidates under AICTE TFW Concerned Institution i. Based on the list of students allotted to your institution who opted for AICTE TFW furnished by TNEA, Anna University, the Principal shall select candidates branch wise from the TNEA list up to a maximum of 5% of the sanctioned intake of the respective branch in the order of merit (descending order of rank). ii. Candidates selected as per (i) above should not be a First Generation Graduate. iii. Candidates selected as per (i) above shall be given Tuition fee concession i.e RS.20,000/- per annum.
