The NATIONAL UNION OF STUDENTS OF THE PHILIPPINES (NUSP) is the nationwide alliance of more than 650 student councils/governments/federations/unions committed to the advancement of students democratic rights and welfare. Since its establishment in 1957, the NUSP has been steadfast in its decisive involvement in students struggles for their rights, while also working in solidarity with the Filipino people in the struggle for social justice and meaningful changes in society. As such, the Union has earned the recognition of being the premier national student center in the country. In line with the aim of raising social awareness and participatory citizenship among youth and student leaders, we are glad to inform you that we will be having a University Talk series themed "Aquinomics and the Peoples Alternative: Issues, Challenges, and Strategies of Intervention". U-Talk: Aquinomics and the Peoples Alternative is a forum that purports to assess the 3-year of Aquino regime in terms of economy, politics, and social services, the forum will also present peoples alternative to the current issues we are facing. We invited resource persons from their respective field of expertise to enlighten the event.
