Assignment-4 Write an essay on jump across time. Do we require Newtonian God if Jump across Time is accepted?

In what way humanities accepts jump across time? Jump across time When was the last time you were lost in memories of the past.Lost in the golden memories of your youth. Not that I am a 60 year old person.Do you rememver the joy of winning a prize in school and feeling you have won the world.Or does your mind race towards the future wondering about your sad and depressing CG or all the awesome stuff you want to make the ,cool games you want to code. In all this your mind jumps across time.Your mind imagines about a state that it is not in the present . It derives the pleasure or anxiety , sorrow or happyness from things not limited to your present time. It is interesting to understand how our mind thinks of these things. Our mind not only jumps across time in our own lifetime but also around the world and across the space and time of life on earth. Have you wondered about how humans initially started. How did we evolve from cave-man. What was life-like during the period of Ashoka and Chandragupta Maurya. Your mind jumps acorss time to this imaginary phase which you have just read about , and tries to simulate it to leave you mentally satisfied. The jumps serve us no true purpose but they do enable us to understand our past better. They enable us to reflect on what we have done, and what our race has learnt and taught us. The collective memory of generations is what enables us to think beyond and aspire to understand our past. What about the future? The future is the wide expanse lying in front of us. Why do we think about it. Why does our mind jump to it. Have you ever thought about what would happen once the sun became big. Once it swallowed the Mecrcury and Venus. What would happen. There are jumps in time that our mind performs that are essential. These jumps enable us to predict our future till a certain extent and help us prepare better for it.One example is making better software. Thinking , Analyzing what the customer expects, look into the future and predict what will work and what will not work. Will it remain relevant as the times change. example:An alarm clock software for a dektop is ancient today. They still do exist. Have you ever wondered about deja vu. How and why you recognize a current event as an event from the past? Does god play a role here? The mysteries of our amazing mind yet remain unresolved.

So what is the essence of jumping? How is it perceived by different people? According to Isaac NewtonSensorium of creature is caged in body but not that of God. God is not the soul of the world; neither is world a body of God; nor does God resemble human mind. The term God is principally a name of power and empire. He is able to explain how bodies move , what are the laws that govern their motion , but what motivates them to move and to exist?According to him it is the all-powerful god who has control over these, who governs these, and is the reaseon behind their existence. This being (god) governs all things not as a soul of the world but as the creator of everything. He is eternal, infinite and absolutely perfect. The way God thinks and process things is entirely different from humans. It is argued that God is inside every human and is therefore responsible for their actions and motions. But our actions are a result of our decision in the past.We control our movements therefore we feel we are our decision makers. But we cannot control feelings like Intutuion and Deja vu.These strange insights are the work of God.Who can see through time and space. Therefore every action in the universe is controlled by God. We need to learn from our past to build a better future. "Our present is our chance, our past is our teacher, and our future depends on our present. Hence, we are responsible for the future stage of our life. Lets jump from a time of gloom into a time of glee!"

Assignment-5A Make a Poster on any Mythological Story Choose any wholesome Mythic Story from any Civilization (It could be some story from Mahabharata/Ramayana/Kathasaritasagara etc.) Give Gist of Mythic Story / Moral of Mythic Story / Art around Mythic Story / Prevalence / Literature etc. You could do poster in Indian Language Use internet resources for mythology & visuals. Support Poster with a Blog on your tryst with Mythology.

Tryst with mythology What is my idea of mythology. What are the memories it brings back. How does it intellectually stimulate me. What are the things I have learnt. The word mythology brings back memories of my grandmother. Whenever we visited her she would always tell us stories. We expected a new story every time we met her. It brings back memories of my mother singing in the mornings. Stories of the gods and goddesses. As a kid I once asked my mother why do we place the flowers placing our side shouldn't they face the god and I used to turn them around. In my childhood I had heard many stories but didn't know their origin. Once while travelling in the school bus a senior once asked me "what is your religion " I was confused I had no idea I then went home and my mom told me I was a hindu. At that point the fact that such a difference existed seemed funny. I say religion as we get our mythology from our religions and what to believe and what not to is entirely upon us. My mother used to tell us stories of Krishna and his bravehood and all the fun stuff that he did. Krishna for me was not the ideal all knowing God but but the fun, naughty, popular kid. I ended up respecting Lord Vishnu and adoring Krishna. They are all the same yet their avatars exhibit different charachters.Be it Lord Rama or Lord Krishna it also taught me that no one can be perfect. There are flaws you can find in everyone.you need to rise above them and learn to appreciate what good they have done. Mythology also brings to my mind a very special person. My fui(my father's sister) . She used to be the treasure house of Indian mythology for us. Always the one to ask if we were ever in doubt. She is well-versed with the Bhagwad and the Bhagwat Gita. We used to sit by her side and she would read out a para and explain to us, the the meaning. She revealed to us many of the unknwon and surprsing stories. My experience with mythology also brings back the memory of Amar Chitra Kathas. The illustrations, the excitement , the joy.The Shakuntala, the story of Ganga , the story of Shiva and Parvati all revealed themselves in the pages of these amazing books.

Thought my tryst with mythology is not limited to these experiences of gaining knowledge about stories , it does play a major role.. It is also about the lessons taught , the inspiration and the morale. It is also about understanding about how people in the past thought about certain issues and how some of the superstitions of today's day have evolved.Mythology also is a connecting link with many elders in the family as it is a topic which they enjoy and have a lot to share. I may or may not believe in a religion even though I believe in a universal God, but mythology gives us hope, inspiration and a direction to worship and channel our prayers.

Assignment-6 Imagine you are 10000 or 60000 years old Write your Story Select 3-4 persona that you were and locations anywhere on earth Be bold in Imagination. Watch a Movie (available at DC) The Man from Earth Use internet resources for supporting imagination of persona And look into yourself for long-term traits I sat waiting in the cave. Warming myself with the fire.I knew it was enough to protect me from the beasts.I knew I had to face them again though.Face them to hunt them and to kill them. Two days without a decent kill had left me and my family hungry.Next day I knew I had to face the bitter cold, the dangerous beasts.I then went in search of food. After a lot of walking a deer just jumped across a path near me.It came into my glance and then disappeared into the bushes. I kept chasing it.Finally the next time it stepped out of the bushes my arrow was right on target and the deer was mine. My duty for the day was done.I picked up the carcass and headed back home.

After a lot of roaming about and few years after everyone in my first family died I moved on.Going to different places, doing different things. The next distinct memory I have is of sitting around the fire with my friends. We were

very happy we had each other. We had the Indus flowing nearby and with the few-crops we grew we were quite self -sufficient. We worked together, enjoyed together, it was good to have company.

A few hundred years later. Its amazing I still haven't got bored but there is just so much to do and so much to learn. I started working as an apprentice under a potter. The whole idea and concept on which a pot is made is just so interesting.I aslo enjoyed decorating the pots after they were done.I had a very comfortable lifestyle.I had a nice house. The city was well-laid out.The kings were good to the people. This was one of my first few decades in living in organized community and was a very rememberable experience.

I then started moving down towards central India. Not that I knew where I was going at that point of time.It was the glorious time of Chandragupta Maurya. And I had the fortune of working under Chanakya.I was his chief informer and information collector and organizer. It was an interesting and dangerous post.We together had helped save Chandragupta's life umpteen times. Chanakya was one of the few people who knew my secret.I knew I couldn't hide it long from him.Chanakya was one of the most interesting people I met. The applications of his analytical thinking and clear logic still exist today.

Lets move one to another interesting time.I was working on the Taj Mahal.I was a part of the team of Artisans who were working on the design part of it.We laboured night and day to produce it to Shah Jahan's specifications. Our chief would consult him on a regular basis to decide in which direction we should go.In the whole process I made many friends woking on it for such a long time.I had also slowly began to realize Shah Jahan's obsession with it.With the help of my informers and Chanakya's training I realized he wasn't going to let us continue, and was going to cut our hands.I immediately fled.I went and ran to a place where he could never find me.The interior jungles of Maharashtra. My caveman days helped me survive for a long time.

Finally I move on to the day we got independence. That day at night the whole nation was awake.Ears and eyes on the radio. As we hearrd of our independence we were overjoyed. We knew it had finally come. After years of riots ,struggles, killings, exploitation. It was over.We were free. The streets , the newspapers,it felt great to be alive at this important moment for many people. For me not,so much but the energy around me was awe-inspiring.

What do I do these days then?Let's see I recently became the secret advisor to Shri Shri Ravi Shankar. He is quite an awesome guy.I have peace because I don't know how long I could have survived if I could not calm myself and not get into depression.I advise him about History and people to enable him to take better decisoins. The power to calm your mind is not easy and I appreciate the fact that he has brought this power to so many people with his methods.Though as soon as I get bored of him.I am joining Ratan Tata's vetenary hospital. When I look back at my life I notice that I have always wanted to do something interesting, out of the ordinary of the time I was in. I like experimenting, trying new things so shifting becomes not only a necessity but also an enjoyable habit.I have also liked to be associated with people of power , to understand what is it in them that drives them and inspires people around them Let's see where my destiny takes me next..
