OPTIONAL FINISHING

Cut (1.25 cm) elastic to length of Beret circumference, allowing a (1.25 cm) for sewing. Overlap ends of elastic and sew together with sewing needle and matching thread. Loop elastic around the wrong side of Beret between Round 14 and Round 21. Fold up Round 21 to Round 13, so the wrong sides are together. Thread yarn needle with a length of yarn and sew Round 21 and Round 13 together, securing the elastic inside.
