INTRODUCTION BORAL SUPRACEIL Concealed Ceiling Systems

BORAL SUPRACEIL Concealed Ceiling Systems are ideal for commercial, industrial and residential applications where the ceiling plenum is large and is intended to conceal air conditioning, and other M&E items. BORAL SUPRACEIL Concealed Ceiling Systems not only provide beautiful ush at ceilings but can also provide re protection and sound insulation.

BORAL SUPRACEIL Close-Fit Concealed Ceiling Systems

BORAL SUPRACEIL Close-Fit Concealed Ceilings are typically for commercial and residential applications where nished oor to ceiling heights must be maximized. The simple design allows the framing members to be xed with a simple clip directly to concrete sof ts and can also provide both standard and re rated ceiling performance.

BORAL ZERVEBOARD Access Panel

BORAL ZERVEBOARD is a readymade high quality access panel that is easily incorporated into plasterboard ceilings providing easy access to mechanical and electrical services above the ceiling.

BORAL FIRELOCKTEE Exposed Grid Ceiling System

BORAL FIRELOCKTEE Exposed Grid Ceiling System is typically used for commercial and industrial applications which require aesthetic ceiling nishes or easy access to the ceiling void above. The system consists of high quality pre-painted metal sections that form a grid when locked together into which high quality BORAL Ceiling Tiles can be installed. This system also incorporates a design feature that can allow the ceiling tiles to be secured into position during installation by using the BORAL Firelock Clip if required.

BORAL SUPRATEE Exposed Grid Ceiling System

BORAL SUPRATEE Exposed Grid Ceiling System is typically used for commercial applications which require a higher level of ceiling aesthetics. The system consists of high quality pre-painted metal sections which have a shadow-line recess that adds to the overall aesthetics of the nished ceiling. SUPRATEE sections form a grid when locked together into which high quality BORAL Ceiling Tiles can be installed.

FIRE RATING and ACOUSTIC With many years of re and acoustic testing around the world Boral have accumulated a wealth of expertise and knowledge with a wide range of system test reports. Indicates that a test report is available Indicates a prediction based on expert opinions, test reports from other similar tests or specialist calculation software like Marshall Day. Fire tests results shown in the ceiling performance tables meet the requirement of either: BS 476: part 22 1987 Methods for determination of the re resistance of non-loadbearing elements of construction or BS 476: part 23 1987 Methods of determination of the contribution of components to the re resistance of a structure. CEILING SAFETY BORAL Ceiling Systems are classed a non-traf cable ceilings and should not be walked upon by installers or other trades people. BORAL SUPRACEIL Concealed Ceiling Systems BORAL SUPRACEIL Concealed Ceiling Systems are ideal for commercial, industrial and residential applications where the ceiling plenum is large and is intended to conceal air conditioning, and other M&E items. BORAL SUPRACEIL Concealed Ceiling Systems not only provide beautiful ush at ceilings but can also provide re protection and sound insulation. BORAL SUPRACEIL Concealed Ceiling Systems are designed with simple fast clip together components for easy installation and ceiling alignment. Each ceiling component has been specially engineered to optimise ceiling strength, rigidity and loading performance. Ceiling voids can also be varied to accommodate mechanical and electrical services and air-conditioning ducting. All services installed above the ceiling must be supported by the structure above and not by the concealed ceiling system. Performance The selection of ceiling system and boarding will depend on the performance required for re, refer to performance tables on page 2.3 to 2.4 CONCEALED CEILING SYSTEM

Safety BORAL SUPRACEIL Concealed Ceiling Systems are classed as non-traf cable ceilings and should not be walked upon by installers or other trades people. For traf cable solutions contact: BORAL Technical Support Centre

BORAL SUPRACEIL Close-Fit Concealed Ceiling Systems BORAL SUPRACEIL Close-Fit Concealed Ceilings are typically for commercial and residential applications where nished oor to ceiling heights must be maximized. The simple design allows the framing members to be xed with a simple clip directly to concrete sof ts concrete sof t allowing a cavity width between sof t and back of plasterboard ranging from 20mm to 70mm. This system also lends itself to overboarding existing cement render and plaster ceilings where improved aesthetics or acoustic performance is required. For larger ceiling voids use BORAL SUPRACEIL Concealed Ceiling System. BORAL SUPRACEIL Close-Fit Concealed Ceiling Systems are compatible with other BORAL systems providing a ush nish when taped and jointed and are suitable for direct decoration or textured nishes.
