guestlist is a privilege, not a right
and it goes to people that frequent
the night or that particular club of-
ten. And when you ask for guestlist,
you are actually expected to come
to the night. yet still some people
ask to be on the guestlist with their
5 friends at 4 different clubs on the
same night. Why is this? So that
they can say oh, I am on the door
at ***** with a plus 4.

People are now willing to say that
their own sex lives are not as clean

People think the face of oral
cancer is a 70-year-old man
whos been chewing tobacco
and drinking whiskey all his
life.
Researchers at the Johns
Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center
have conclusive evidence that
human papillomavirus (HPV)
causes some throat cancers in
both men and women.
These are patients that are
young. They are in their 30s
and 40s. They are nonsmok-
ers, and they dont drink alco-
hol excessively. And all of them
has HPV-16 in their tissue, in
the biopsy specimen.
High-risk HPV strains cause
cancer by using special pro-
teins to disrupt healthy cells.
It makes cells unable to repair
themselves and unable to con-
trol how they are duplicated.
The virus is transmitted by di-
rect contact. you only get HPV
in the location it attaches to,
so it never travels through the
bloodstream.
So just exactly how it gets in
the mouth may stun you.
oral sex, including both fella-
tio and cunnilingus, is the main
mode of transit for oral HPV
infection, the investigators
say, although mouth-to-mouth
transmission remains possible
and was not ruled out by the
current study.

Like many broadcasters today, the
BBC is open to experimenting with
online video distribution, allowing
viewers to watch shows online.
However, due to complex copy-
right issues people are not gener-
ally allowed to share or remix the
videos - until now. For their new
R&DTV production, the BBC is us-
ing a Creative Commons license,
giving the viewer the freedom to
redistribute and re-use the show.
To add to the excitement there
are also plans to use BitTorrent
to distribute the show and source
material. The BBC is one of the
partners in the Eu funded P2P-
Next research project that uses
BitTorrent technology to shape
the future of web based TV de-
livery. BitTorrent is very effective
in reducing bandwidth costs and
thanks to technology developed
by the P2P-Next team it can also
be used to stream TV-shows, and
even live video.
The BBC is not offering BitTor-
rent downloads or streams for
R&DTV just yet, but they do hope
to use P2P-Next (and therefore
BitTorrent) for future episodes.
This could be done by embed-
ding BitTorrent powered streams
in their site or alternatively they
could offer regular .torrent down-
loads.
R&DTV is published in a full 30
minute version and a brief 5 min-
ute edition offering just the high-
lights. Both are available in vari-
ous video formats but thats not
all. For every episode, all of the
source material - including raw
footage not used in the full show
- is also included in the so-called
asset bundle.
Were pretty excited and ask
you to please tell us what you do
end up doing with the asset bun-
dle, so we can learn what works
and what does not work and fx it
next time we release another as-
set bundle, the BBC writes on the
download page where the show is
posted.

oECD Secretary-general An-
gel gurra welcomed an an-
nouncement by Monaco that it
is prepared to enter into agree-
ments for the exchange of in-
formation in all tax matters in
accordance with international
standards developed by the
oECD and recognised by the
united Nations.
In a letter to the oECD Sec-
retary-general, the Principality
of Monaco stated that it is pre-
pared to expand the scope of
an anti-fraud agreement that
it is negotiating with the Euro-
pean Commission so that the
agreement incorporates the
oECD standards fully.
Monaco expressed the hope
that this agreement can be f-
nalised by the end of 2009,
so as to allow it to exchange
information in all tax matters
with all European union mem-
ber states that are signatories
to the agreement. In addition,
Monaco announced that it is
prepared to negotiate tax infor-
mation exchange agreements

, _
with all countries that wish to
do so, and in particular with
those members of the g-20
that are not also members of
the Eu.
Welcoming the announce-
ment, Mr. gurra said: The
Principality of Monaco has
made a very important step
by recognising that in todays
fnancial world meeting inter-
national standards is no longer
optional. governments require
it, customers require it, and
competitors require it.
He also encouraged a rapid
implementation of this commit-
ment, underlining that moving
to concrete results is the true
test.
Monaco was identifed as
a tax haven by the oECD in
2000 and included in an oECD
list of unco-operative tax ha-
vens issued in 2002 after fail-
ing to join other fnancial cen-
tres in committing formally to
take steps towards increased
transparency and exchange of
information.
In the last few weeks, a num-
ber of other jurisdictions have
announced that they, too, are
now ready to adopt the interna-
tional standards. Commenting
on these developments, Jeffrey
owens, Director of the oECDs
Centre for Tax Policy and Ad-
ministration, said: These an-
nouncements demonstrate
that acceptance of the oECD
principles of transparency and
information exchange is no
longer an issue. The key now
is to ensure rapid implementa-
tion, and the oECD will monitor
progress very closely.

Profession? Thats tricky. I am primarily an actress for
stage, television, and movies and also a commercial model.
I also do stage design and costume designing for both the-
atre and events. And I am also a voice talent.
How did you get started witH acting and wHat
insPired you to follow tHe PatH you are on now?
I used to be a painter then. I graduated Fine Arts, at U.P.
Diliman. I was very young and felt like trying other things.
After 3 exhibitions, I quit painting. Since my family and my
boyfriends family at the time were into theatre, it was an
easy option. I was too shy to perform then, so I started in
theatre as a production manager, but eventually I got cast in
a production. I fell in love with performing instantly I guess
it has always been in my blood.
wHat Has been your most memorable work exPeri-
ence? Hmm its hard to pick one because Im attached to
all of the plays Ive been a part of. Also, the circumstances
by which I was cast in all of them make them out of the
ordinary and therefore memorable to me. ZsaZsa Zathurn-
nah Ze Muzical is one Ive been part of the longest since it
is such a big success. I played the antagonist on this one,
Queen Femina Suarestellar Baroux, which is so cool be-
cause I have license to be a bad-ass! I also get to perform
in a thong.
is tHere anyone tHat you look uP to and model your-
self on? Model myself on, no. I feel that to be unhealthy.
I do look up to some people in the theatre, especially the
ones that touch me when they play characters onstage. I
like truth in a performance, and respect the actors who can
achieve it so easily. Be they veterans or newbies. I also ad-
mire serious discipline and love for the material. I never
studied theatre, so I pick up discipline from people Ive
worked with.
wHat was your first booking and How was it? I was
first in cast in a production written and directed by Nestor
Torre. We met when I assisted him in interviewing people
as fodder for a play he was writing. He asked me what I
was doing being an assistant and insisted on casting me
in his play. I was a nervous person, and he was so scary
as a director that I forgot myself. I must say, it was very
therapeutic.
wHats tHe biggest misconcePtion about you as an
actress? That I cannot be ugly on stage.
wHo and wHat are your influences? I like a lot of Brit-
ish actors. You can tell they are serious in their role portray-
als.
wHat tyPe of acting gig would you not accePt?
Porn.
is tHere lots of indecent ProPosals in tHe indus-
try? I havent been offered fame in exchange for sex, but
there are a few actors, who I think, take advantage of inti-
mate scenes and say that they are only being in the char-
acter. Of course, that is just my subjective opinion. I have
been asked to augment my breasts so I can be packaged
as a sexy star in commercial show business. I refused, say-
ing Even if I augment my breasts, we cannot get rid of the
striae from my pregnancy. If anyone needs boobs to make
it in showbiz, then they cant act for shit. Boobs will not
do anything for your acting skills, and it wasnt exactly the
direction I wanted to take.
any new Projects or Plans we sHould anticiPate?
Dulaang U.P (University of the Philippines) might stage a
re-run of ATANG, the life of Atang dela Rama our national
artist, in July of this year. If the run pushes through I will be
playing Gia Almonte, the sexy starlet who interviews the old
Atang dela Rama to play her part in a biopic, in the hopes
of being taken seriously as an actress. Its a beautiful play
written by Floy Quintos and directed by Alex Cortez. There
is talk of a re-staging of the hit Zsazsa Zathurnahh this year
also.
Watch out for Camera Caf and You Women on QTV and
GMA. Both shows are snack comedies produced by Euro-
Asia Media.

wHere were you born? I was born in Rwanda (Africa), but
my mom is from Jamaica.
How long Have you been living in tHe PHiliPPines? I
have been staying here for 2 years, and I am enjoying the
place.
wHen/How did you come uP witH tHe idea of living/
study in tHe PHiliPPines? In 2005 my dad told me that
I should come here to finish my studies because he gradu-
ated here. And I think I made the right choice.
was it Hard to get a visa or a Permit? No. From our
country, we do not need a Visa to come here. We just get a
plane ticket at the airport and I can be wherever I want!
do you sPeak tagalog and do you tHink its imPor-
tant to sPeak tHe local language? I speak a lil bit of
Tagalog and I think it is important, because you can be able
to communicate with local people well. It will be smoother
to mingle.
wHat are tHe Positive and negative asPects of liv-
ing/study in tHe PHiliPPines? Let me start with nega-
tive and positive aspects of living here: Just like around
here in Manila City, some spots are polluted, and corrupted
too. Some places around are not so clean, but it is still nice
to stay here because there are plenty of night places like
clubs, bar, condo, schools, etc...
For negative and positive aspects of studying here: For
me, it is okay but sometimes when Im in class, some pro-
fessors just talk in Tagalog explaining stuff and I cannot un-
derstand untill he is told. I think thats also a reason why we
should learn the native language(tagalog).
do you Have any tiPs for our readers about living/
studying in tHe PHiliPPines? Well, what I can say is,
this is really a nice place to live. With lots of friendly people
wherever you go, you will feel instantly at home. Very hos-
pitable culture.
wHats a tyPical week for you wHen it comes to
training and nutrition? Well, it depends... like some-
times when we have games, I play soccer by the way, I train
2 times a week. Need the stamina for it. And for the food I
like to eat meat and eggs because it have proteins. I burn
energy more when I play and train.
wHat are some of your tecHniques tHat HelP you
maintain a good 6-Pack? The key to a good 6-pack is to
know how to choose those exercises that stretches your
ab muscles. Stretching them will make them feel strained,
then that will actually need some recovery time. Aslo in-
clude some exercises that use the abs functionality.
wHats your ring tone rigHt now? Kiss me through the
Phone by Soulja Boy.
How would you describe your lifestyle? My lifestyle
is really complicated. Like when Im in vacation, I like just
to hang out with my friends in some parties, drinking, club-
bing, playings games, shopping... just simple things that are
enjoyable.
best Party Place? Here in Philippines: Makati , Pasig, and
Taguig.
favorite traveling destination? Puerto Galera and
Boracay.
wHats your favorite alcoHolic beverage? Cham-
pagne, Rhum and Vodka.
favorite websites? Facebook and Youtube.

wHere do you live now and wHy? While I believe I am a
citizen of the world, my home base is Manila.
wHy did you get into djing? I used to live in Singapore,
where I went out every weekend to Zouk to listen to in-
ternational and local DJs. The level of production and the
maturity of the audience was so awesome, I saw house mu-
sic at its best. After watching so many acts, I always told
myself that I must get into DJing to mold my own style. A
few years later, I bought myself a mixer and two cd players
for my birthday and started.
your biggest gig so far? The biggest club room in Manila
is Embassy, therefore Emba was my biggest so far -- I am
looking into spinning for large format events next year.
How long Have you been a dj? 3 years.
wHats your favourite track tHat you like to Play?
Casa Grande
wHat was your first booking? Small but cozy bar in
Salcedo Village (Makati) by the name Coquina. Yes, that is
where I mixed my first track ;) Thanks to my idol David Ardi-
ente. hhahaha... David this one is for you .. haha.
wHen you are uP tHere do you Have a Play list or do
you read tHe crowd? Yes, I plan every track - how I mix
the songs on which exact second, otherwise the entire set
just collapses and the party is over... haha... just kidding :) I
do not plan my set..... I play my music to the intensity level
I believe the crowd is up for. DJs must learn how to play to
the crowd, which is the most dynamic part of the job.
best dj exPerience? Boracay, 5am, Summer 08 - ARI-
ELS house- small crowd but pumping... 1 cdj was broken,
I decided to spin. People were still jumping up and down.
Loved it. I also loved spinning on the roof deck pool parties
and heli pad parties.
do you Prefer Playing at clubs or bigger events
like raves? I love clubs, Id love to do big event. I must say,
my route goes a different way tho. To throw a good party,
you must take control over the entire production. Therefore
my dream is to do parties in more non-conventional venues
and with wicked themes ;) Its not only about the dj any-
more, its the production and the people...
wHo and wHat are your influences? Many, mostly rock
music. I used to be a pure-rocker, and I still love the music.
From Jimmy Hendricks, Cream, Rage against the machine,
Pearl Jam and Stone Temple. Notice that electro house
sounds like rock?
How would you describe your sound? Electro House
and Progressive House.
dose it cost lots of money to become a dj? It costs
you only your decision to be one. Go online and do the re-
search... you will find out that it doesnt take much to be a
dj nowadays. I suggest you practice at your friends place
first and see if it is for you. There are also schools in the
market for you to test your hidden talents ...
wHat club/event would you like to do? I love pool
parties, so Id love to continue that. Next step for next year
will be to spin abroad.
future Plans? Continue with wicked parties, I do not
have a set calendar. Just go with the flow and enjoy right?
your best dj websites? Beatport and Djdownload.com
is tHere lots of indecent ProPosals in tHe indus-
try? Not too many :)
