Methodology:
Need Identification: Number of persons, vehicles travelling, amount of trade happening, present and future traffic requirements. Analysis: Survey the area to understand the topography and terrain of the area(i.eforests, hills, valleys, rivers..etc) and issues related with building the road. Design:
Designing the road as much straight as possible with less curves and less ups and downs, and avoid passage through cities/villages so that the transportation is done is less time and more safely. Develop alternative plans like building a straight road with tunnels through hills, bridges on river and roads through the forests or else he can build a road around the hills and away from the forest. Evaluate the plan for technical aspects ,economical feasibility(shortrun and long run investments) and environment protection.
What ever may be the branch or sector and where every they work, every engineer need to work under the frame work of increasing quality, reducing cost and reduction in time, which leads to productivity resulting in value addition and wealth creation. To fit into above role one need to be continuous leaner who acquires knowledge and develop his skills.
Creativity: refers to the phenomenon whereby a person creates something new (a product, a solution, a work of art etc.) that has some kind of value. Analytical Skills: is the ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems and concepts, and make decisions that make sense based on available information. Such skills include demonstration of the ability to apply logical thinking to gathering and analyzing information, designing and testing solutions to problems, and formulating plans.
Imagination: is the ability of forming mental images, sensations and concepts, in a moment when they are not perceived through sight, hearing or other senses. Imagination is the work of the mind that helps create. Imagination helps provide meaning to experience and understanding to knowledge; it is a fundamental facility through which people make sense of the world, and it also plays a key role in the learning process. Ability to Judge: Judgment is the ability to conclude based on facts, in order to make further steps. Keen Observation: Careful consideration Determination: The quality of being determined to do or achieve
something; firmness of purpose

New technologies which can totally change the way the things are looked in to. They can bring unimagined products and lifestyle. This creates more opportunities in different sectors.
NANO TECHNOLOGY
Nanotechnology (nanotech) is the study of manipulating matter on an atomic and molecular scale. Generally, nanotechnology deals with structures sized between 1 to 100 nanometre in at least one dimension, and involves developing materials or devices possessing at least one dimension within that size. Quantum mechanical effects are very important at this scale, which is in the quantum realm.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Information technology (IT) is the acquisition, processing, storage and dissemination of vocal, pictorial, textual and numerical information by a microelectronics-based combination of computing and telecommunications.
Moore's law: Describes a long-term trend in the history of computing hardware. The number of transistors that can be placed inexpensively on an integrated circuit doubles approximately every two years. This trend has continued for more than half a century and is expected to continue until 2015 or 2020 or later.

BIO TECHNOLOGY
Biotechnology is a field of applied biology that involves the use of living organisms and bioprocesses in engineering, technology, medicine and other fields requiring bioproducts. Biotechnology also utilizes these products for manufacturing purpose. Indian biotechnology sector is expected to become a five billion-dollar (around Rs 23,400 crore) industry by 2010-ref Press Trust of India

Information Technology
Growth of industries affected the global climate and environment. Before, there were not much greenhouse gases produced by human activities, but with population growth, deforestation, factory farming and Carbon dioxide emissions creates an excess of greenhouse gases (CO2, Nitrous Oxide, Methane, CFC, etc.,) in the atmosphere results in global warming. These effects can be reduced by Green Technology. Green Technology (greentech) is the application of the environmental science and green chemistry to conserve the natural environment and resources, and to reduce the negative impacts of human involvement. Sustainable development is the core of green technologies. Government, People and Industry are now committed to reduce Global warming by encouraging Green Technology to save our Planet Earth.

F The Course taught in IT( Information Technology) and CSE ( Computer Science Engineering) is Very similar. But the demand for CSE remain high compared to IT. A C Among Electronics, need for Communication Technology is less than 25%, while need for Instrumentation / Controls / Power Electronics is greater than 75%. But T Demand for ECE ( Electronics and Communication Engineering) is lot more compared with EIE ( Electronics and Instrumentation) / ECS ( Electronics and Controls) S
