What is SHIP?
SHIP is a state funded initiative to reduce chronic diseases associated with tobacco use and exposure and obesity
Goals
1. To support, promote, implement, and evaluate health interventions that lead to sustainable improvements in health by creating changes in policies, systems, and environments where individuals live, work, play, and seek health care services. 2. To reduce the overall cost of health care in Minnesota.
