Trainings for Gender Focal Points of Bayankhongor province including soums Main goal was to make the Bayanhongor province as a model province within the western provinces, met with newly appointed management and cooperated with them on implementation of LPGE. Training organized on March 13-14 of 2013 and total 36 people attended including gender focal points from each soums, head of departments of government administration office and senior advisors of the provinces. Public awareness campaign on March 8 Aim of the contest: raised public awareness by advocating for Womens rights and its possibility, combating many types of violence against women, conducting and distributing best practices and launching the Photo Contest and Best slogan contest with the theme to End violence against women for the March 8th , International Womens Day. Preparatory work, organization of scientific meeting/follow up, and organizational cost Create state mechanism to coordinate men's development, develop "Responsible ", "Formed men" and implement, change tendency of violation commiters and total 50 participans attended. Also discussed improved mens health, education, their responsibility in the sivil sociaty, combat gender based violence, end of inequal condition, and about reproductive health etc. It was good achiement that Mens association NGO first time organised conference to change tendency of traditional behavior of the men. From conference has iisued statement to the Government of Parliament, and Governemnt of Mongolia, NCGE and other NGO's . Managed to distribute throught the media press faced problem:Integrate men's NGO 's also reflected mainsteaming and inequal tendency, Trainings for gender focal points of Zavkhan province on capacity development On June 24 2013 conducted training for gender focal points from Zavkhan Aimag, and their new managers. The training: developed and strengthened capacity; increased cooperation; built capacity in mainstreaming gender-sensitive programs, policies and evaluation methods; promoted implementation of the mid-term strategy and action plan of the LPGE; and informed participants of their rights, responsibilities and job description as the Gender focal points. Training was supposed to be held for two days, however flight was delayed due to bad weather, organized training to one day. There were a total of 49 participants.

Trainings for Gender Focal points and districts of UB and (16 ministries and 9 districts of UB) on GEL and gender mainstreaming Organized training on April 18-19, at the Bishrelt Hotel on information provision and capacity development for the management of the Central Civil Organizations on gender issues.

Training for members of NCGE with theme Gender sensitive management and skill On May 27 2013 the NCGE organized internal training on Gender-sensitive Management and Skills and training on Civil Organizational Structures and Human resource capacity to implement gender-sensitive policies and the shared German experience Organize a television broadcast to increase youth participation to provide information on gender equality and violence against women The broadcast screened throughout the country on TV5 television for 20-40 minutes at 6 pm on June 28 2013. It was replayed the next day at 15.20 pm on the same channel. The broadcast aimed to change youth perspectives to reduce domestic violence and provide an introduction to Mongolias domestic violence law and legal environment. Organise discussion through the mongolian radio and national broadcasting LPGE and its strategy about

Implement a radio discussion series on the Mongolian radio and National Broadcasting about LPGE and implementation strategy. The discussion was broadcast on MRNB and FM 106 radio throughout the in rural areas twice, on June 23 and June 30 2013. The first two broadcasts were focused on youth, to promote gender equality and encourage them to change their behavior and fight domestic violence. The ultimate goal of the broadcast was to reduce domestic violence. Food and nutrition One of the important objectives of the government Mongolia is to improve nutrition of children and women. Mongolia has been implementing a Law on Breast Milk Substitutes, National Programme on Food safety, National Programme to combat with iodine Deficiency Disorder, and National Strategy to prevent from mother and child from micronutrient deficiencies. Since 2010, Government of Mongolia has been supplying all children under 5 years and lactating women by high dose vitamin A. In addition, Ministry of Health has been introducing multimicronutrient supplementation program to reduce micronutrient deficiencies in young children, pregnant and lactating women with coordination of UNICEF, World vision Mongolia and Asian development bank.

Therefore, Ministry of Industry and Agriculture has been implementing to improve Food security project since 2010 with coordination FAO. That projects objective is to improve rural poverty and food nutrition. Mongolia repeats Nutrition status of children and women survey once in every five years and three rounds of survey were carried since 1992, the latest fourh survey was conducted in 2010 and led by the Public Health Institute with support and collaboration of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Industry and Agriculture, UNICEF, and WHO. That the survey report will contribute a lot identifying future policies and actions in nutrition areas in Mongolia.
