The biggest concern a missionary on furlough


has is how the work on the field is going in

The Lord willing, the Sapps plan to leave for


Zambia on June 26, 1972 from Omaha, Ne
braska. This will enable them to arrive in Zam

bia the first of July.

A joyous reunion with

Zambian friends is anticipated.

The goal of all missionaries in Zambia is to establish congregations and train leaders so these congregations can exist, grow and multiply even in the absence of the missionary. Fur lough is the first test the new churches really get to see if the missionary has accomplished this goal.
Furlough for the Sapps is quite significant in this area, as fhey have had only one term on the field. Being novice missionaries, the new churches they left were of special concern. Con
