Hebrew QuestTM Syllabus

Hebrew QuestTM doesnt just enable you to read the Bible in Hebrew. It helps you grow in your relationship to God and your discipleship to Yeshua.

Objectives

Instructor
Yisrael Izzy Avraham is a Messianic Jew with an extensive background in Biblical and post-Biblical Hebrew texts. His teaching style is engaging, innovative, and beginner friendly. Yisraels main focus , both in and out of these lessons, is on discipleship to Yeshua.

Required Resources
For this course, youll need: A Student Manual. Go to our website (www.holylanguage.com) to order hard copies or download the pdf from the Resources area. The Student Manual is also included in the Hebrew Quest TM DVD course. A notebook and pen or pencil A Hebrew Bible and dictionary are helpful but not necessary. See suggested links in the Resources area of holylanguage.com for recommended Hebrew Bibles and dictionaries.

Timeframe
Hebrew QuestTM consists of 40 lessons that build on each other. Each lesson is between 60 and 90 minutes. If you do two lessons a week, youll complete this course in roughly two semesters. If you treat this course as an intensive pursuit and do three lessons a day, five days a week, youll finish this course in three sizzling weeks.

Expectations
We encourage our students to: Gather a couple other people and take this course in a group context Have an open prayer time before and after the lesson Take notes and discuss the lesson as a group Take notes and review the lesson individually Make a commitment to apply what they learn Teach others what they have been taught
