had so many glorious experiences during the Christmas

season that we want to share with yoUc

As I have told you before, we must take

advantage of the religious spirit chat prevails in most of the people during those daysj so we prepared a nice Christmas program^ The young people of the

church presented the program^ consisting of several dramas related to the var
ious happenings that are told in the Bible about the birth of Jesus. privileged to present the Gospel through these following plays:

A concert of Christmas carols sung by the boys and girls who took part in the entire programc This whole presentation lasted about an

hour, and at the end of it we had wonderful fellowship, with a supper of tamaooffoci^ The attendance was really good in our San Luis church, reach-

.the country village of San Agustln^ about 100 miles from here to present our
same program. There is a church out there that was established by Broo Anto

The last day of the year, we went upon invitation out to-

nio Medina in the 1930''s and where he held services weekly for over 2? years. Many of the boys and girls did,not have the money for their transportation but

we told them that if they could not pay it, we would do it; however, when time
came to go, their parents showed great love and willingness and in spite of po

inflation has really hurt them but they love the Lord even in hard times.

yerty, managed to pay their way^

Most families have over 7 members in them, &

a,m, but did not leave until noon, then taking a full 6 hours to go 100 miles. Vi/hen we arrived, it was already dark but we were encouraged because the breth ren had everything ready for the programo After presenting the same one which we had here in San Luis, we enjoyed a wonderful fellowship and candy & peanuts were given out At 30 minutes to mldnlghtj we started singing again and after the singing I preached about thankfulnesso Then, when the new year came, all
of us were praying and thanking God for His blessings during the closing year. V^hen we went to bed it was two o'clock; when we got up, it was time to have a

tork the old train which should have left at 10 o^ clock

breakfast of beans, tortillas and hot pepperso After breakfast it was time to catch the old train again to come homeo This time the train was fast, making the 100 miles in 3 hours instead of ('^ The attendance waw 3 .^'^ aijd the hoys and

started having Bible classes in a community close to

the camp grounds, called "Milpillas^fi

We had been meeting in the camp kitchen,

with a beginning of two married men and one single man^ Their names are Ansej. mo, Barnabas and Alberto Right now we have suspended classes during the cold days but will start again when the v;eather is warmer as the kitchen does not have either doors or windows yet and yt 6500 feet up it can be plenty cold.

Among our needs, we do need your prayers and support; al so, we would appreciate some used clothing for our family in order to save mon eyo Vje also want to express our special gpatitude for the very kind offering
that you sent to us this past Christmas= It was a lot of help in meeting our expenses, both those of our family and those of the worko
As we come to the close of this letter and report, please receive with these few words the very sincere appreciation we feel toward yoUo

As we continue laboring for the glory of our great God in this area, it is al ways a cocforting thought to know that we are not alone, that God is holding
us in the hollow of His hand and that we have just the very finest of the fam

ily of God backing us every day with love, with prayer and with giving.
Because of Christ our Lord,
