What is Lathe? The m/c that is used for turning operation is called lat the several m/c are repair using lathe m/c. there fore lathe m/c is called mother of lathe m/c.
TYPES OF LATHE M/C: - Lathe machine is used for work shop and can be divided into following types.

ROUGH 1. Rough facing is done to excess metal by giving more depth of cut. 2. Rough facing is done by feeding the tool from the perpendicular of the work. 3. With a fine feed rate of 0.05 mm approximately cut not more 0.1 mm.
