Objectives:
Upon completion of the course students will: Understand the different representations of LTI system. Understand the need for z-Transformation. Understand the phenomena of Aliasing when Continuous-Time signal is under sampled. Designing of Linear phase systems. Understand how Digital filter is structured, what are its basic building blocks. Designing of FIR/IIR Digital filters. Understand how different types of system responses can be attained with the help of polezeros. Be able to compute Discrete Fourier Transform (using fast Fourier transform algorithm). Be able to undertake Advance Digital Signal Processing / Adaptive Filter Designing course in future.
