A Leaf and a Droplet Visionary Landscapes by BhaskarRao .B

To observe a falling leaf , to see drops of water collect into placid lakes ,the changing colours and texturesof each season , this transformation in nature is the essence of the creative spirit of both the physicalworld as well as the human soul . The imagination soars high, evoking deep memories of the subconscious. To capture them in semi abstract forms meant to arrest the ephemeral nature, of a soaring spirit. These exalted geographies could be captured only in their essence , the changing yellows of the evening light or the fresh greens of spring demanded a free flowing technique from the artist .These were part memories and part realities, sharing the natural with the abstract . The colors flowed freely while the structures of the terrains turned visions of strength. Brilliant blues reminiscence water ,rainfall , washes of yellows evoke dawn and dusk. These terrains as lakes , deep woods , mountains areuplifting in Bhaskar's sure strokes and multilayered rendering . The subtle modulations of light and suggestive forms create visual meditations, more of an expression of the subliminal , as a revival of memoirs .
