JSW Cement
India, one of the fastest growing economies in the world is witnessing an unprecedented growth in infrastructure. And there is one cement Company JSW Cement; that believes that this growth needs to be sustainable. JSW Cement, the JSW Groups latest entrant is consciously contributing to creating a self-reliant India by manufacturing the building blocks of the Indian development story with its worldclass cement. We have adopted the route of utilising industrial by-products such as slag to make our eco-friendly cement to ensure a sustainable future for the country. Our plants at Vijayanagar in Karnataka and Nandyal in Andhra Pradesh utilise slag from the JSW Steel plants to produce this green cement. With operations initiated in 2003, JSW Cement is a relatively late entrant into the industry. However, with a capacity to produce over 5.4 million tonnes per year, it is fast becoming a force to reckon with. Today, JSW has carved out a niche for its products by adhering to steadfast business values and sustainability norms. Our flagship plant in Nandyal uses world-class technology (including the advanced Combi Finish Mode Roller Press Circuit and automated loading system) to manufacture cement. It has won several prestigious awards for the quality of cement and its energy-saving processes. JSW Cement produces two varieties of cement: Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag cement (GGBFS) and Portland Slag Cement (PSC). Slag-based cement offers a number of key advantages including increased strength, less corrosion, heat and water-resistance and longevity. JSW Cement is sold in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. We have been delivering our high-quality product to prestigious and large infrastructural projects such as the Sardar Sarovar Dam. At JSW, we believe that the efficient utilization of all available resources will contribute to the development of the nation. With this core thought, we focus tirelessly on the preservation and effective utilization of natural resources in all our Group operations.

JSW Jaigarh Port

JSW Jaigarh Port is the first deep water, all-weather, 24/7 private port in Maharashtra. Inaugurated in August 2009, the JSW Jaigarh Port was built in a record time of 20 months. This greenfield, allweather port occupies a strategic location on the west coast, as it is situated between the ports of Mumbai and Goa.

South West Port

Incorporated in 1997, South West Port marks a major milestone in the history of JSW Infrastructure as it is the companys first port operation. South West Port provides vital logistic support to the JSW Steel plant at Vijayanagar, Karnataka. A mechanized terminal facility in Goa on the west coast of India, it was established primarily to handle the logistic needs of the JSW Steel plant at Toranagallu, Karnataka. With the expansion of the steel plant requiring larger movements of cargo, setting up its own terminal became a strategic cost-cutting and efficiency measure for the JSW Group. Because of its convenient location, South West Port proves itself a cost effective port for the efficient handling of coal and ore imports and finished steel exports. It currently operates two dedicated bulk cargo berths at Mormugoa Port Trust at Goa, on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) licence agreement. The terminal handles over a hundred vessels every year and transacts nearly 6.5 million tonnes of cargo. The total capacity is 7.5 million tonnes and the company plans to expand the facility soon.
