Attaining sustainability in tourism Industry Tourism is one of the fasted growing and largest industry in the world. The rapid diffusion of tourism calls for the concept of sustainability worldwide. So Bangladesh is not exception to this concept. Only this concept can protect tourism industry for the present and future generations. In tourism sustainability means that meets the needs of the present tourist without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs (by Brutland) Lack of sustainability we already failed to protect Saint Martin and ultimately government restricted to visit. Bangladesh has so many nature based tourist destinations (like World largest sea beach, Mangrove forest) rather than manmade. No way to deny the concept of sustainability. generate revenue by attracting tourists. If tourists spend money in a destination then this money circulates several times which have the multiplier effect on the society. For example- a tourist spend 100 taka in a destination like Wari-Bateswar this taka will be distributed among the stakeholders like employees, business owners and local entrepreneur. Entrepreneur will reinvest his profit again and this will create new employment opportunities and local community improves their life style

by involving tourism industry. If we only consider the economic aspect ignoring the environmental impact then the destination will sustain long time means destroyed. So if the destination is not visible how we can attract tourists, let alone revenue breeding. By highlighting these three principles we must attain sustainability in tourism industry. In Sundarbans the main attraction is Royal Bengal Tiger and number of tiger is decreasing due to increasing the uncontrolled tourists which have inverse impact on ecology. So sustainability is only the parameter to generate revenue, develop the society and make ecological balance. The Government, concerned authority local entrepreneurs as well as private entrepreneur must first contemplate about environmental impact in terms of taking any decision for a tourist destination. So Save Tourism by Sustainability by discerning Leave the World Better than You Found It.
