PARENTAL APPROVAL AND REFERENCES

Leadership is for students who express a desire to grow deeper in their walk with Christ as well as be an example to their peers by serving and leading. Students in leadership will be expected to speak positively of others and reflect the Gospel well in their homes and schools. Leadership is not a place for students who have arrived but who have the desire to grow stronger in their walk and lead others. Serving on Leadership requires a commitment not only to the Church but also to the High School Ministry and Leadership team. Leadership meets once a month on the second Monday of every month from 6:30-8:30pm in the High School Green Room (unless otherwise noted due to holidays and other events). Dues are $15 a semester (the 3 semesters are Fall, Spring and Summer) or $35 a year which covers all 3 semesters. Yearly commitments are made in the Fall. This covers snacks, activities, t-shirt, books, etc. If there are unique financial circumstances for your family, please contact Pat about some options. We dont want money to keep anyone from participation. Its understandable that a situation may arise when a student needs to miss, but given that we only meet 12 times a year it will be difficult for a student to stay connected if they miss multiple meetings. Students who miss 2 meetings will not be allowed to participate in Leadership beyond that point. By signing you recognize that you and your parent(s) understand your commitment to and expectations for Leadership for the next semester or year.
