Processing takes 8 weeks before being posted as a credit on the back of your COR utility account statement. Please do not call
to check on the status of a rebate until after at least two billing cycles.
HELPFUL TIPS: Your documents must provide proof of all the information requested on your rebate application. REU
requires efficiency information such as proof of R-Value, solar blockage percentage, or emissivity data. Invoice stating
the conditioned space square footage total must be provided.
Provide a separate application and proof of purchase foreach rebate item.

Insulation Attic, Floor, Walls 75% of materials costs up to $1,000 residential

or Duct Wrap no tax or labor up to $2,500 commercial

Window Treatments Tinting and Sunscreens $0.75 / square foot up to $150 residential
up to $500 commercial

Weatherstripping/Caulking-Door & Window 75% of project costs up to $100 residential

up to $500 commercial

Electric Water Heater Blanket/Wrap 75% of project costs up to $20/unit

Radiant Barrier Material $0.10 / square foot up to $500 residential commercial pre-approval

Thermal Barrier Material $0.10 / square foot up $1,000 residential commercial pre-approval

Income eligible customers (80% of median income) may qualify for higher rebates.

WEATHERIZATION Rebate Criteria - Rebate applies to conditioned space only.
INSULATION
1. Insulation, weatherstripping, and caulking rebates are only available for existing homes
and businesses.
2. Insulation R-Value levels must be equal to: Attic R-38, Floor R-19, Walls R-13, Duct
Wrap R-8.
3. New construction developers should contact REU regarding the Earth Advantage
Construction program.
WINDOW TREATMENTS
4. Window treatments must provide a minimum solar blockage of 60%.
RADIANT BARRIER
5. Radiant barrier roofing materials must have a 95% radiant heat rejection rating or
greater.
THERMAL BARRIER
6. Thermal barrier materials must meet emissivity requirements of 85% or greater.
7. Radiant and Thermal barrier materials must provide additional documentation with the
total square footage of conditioned space covered with efficiency product.
8. Rebate maximum’s are for the life of the program.

TERMS and CONDITIONS

Funds for these incentives are limited. REU reserves the right to change and/or terminate incentives
at its own discretion based on availability of supporting funds. REU also reserves the right to
inspect and verify installation of any energy-efficiency improvements. Customers who reject REU’s
verification process may be subject to rebate denial or reversal. REU does not guarantee any
equipment or energy savings. Only current REU customers qualify for a rebate.
