ERP Security Administrator 00 Exempt (Paid Monthly)

General Description (Purpose and Function): The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Security Administrator assumes responsibility for Application security including the planning, design and implementation of roles and permissions as defined by the functional requirements of the project. The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Security Administrator provides rapid response to user communitys request for security assistance. The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Security Administrator is the primary point of contact for compliance to security policies and procedures. Primary Duties and Responsibilities (For Non-exempt Employees Include Percent of Effort): Analyzes ERP security requirements. Translates needs of the business into applicable ERP security solutions via prototyping and configuration. Performs configuration, testing, and implementation of application security roles and permissions. Develops, obtains approvals, and monitors the compliance to the enterprises security policies and procedures. Responds to reported application security violations received from users and operating units of the enterprise. Investigates validity of all reported application security violations (checks appropriate logs; try to duplicate the security violations). Establishes alternative application security measures if needed to support disaster recovery efforts. Performs support of ERP applications by responding to support desk calls, tracking problems/issues, and following up with customers. Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing application security policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion. Performs at or above the enterprises Information Technology performance standards. Performs other duties as assigned. Authority Designs and implements application security. Maintains and documents application security. Schedules and prioritizes security based activities. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Skills in communication verbal and written Ability to work well with others; service oriented and works easily with users and IT management. Education Requirements (Essential Requirements): High school diploma or equivalent is required. BS or BA degree in computer science, business
