    CHAPTER __ SCALP ACUPUNCTURE Scalp acupuncture is specialized acupuncture of the head region. It is also reffered to as head needle therapy.

    The practice of Scalp Acupuncture is a more modern aspect of Oriental Medicine. Its practice began in 1971 and is based on elementary understanding of functional Neuroanatomy. The scalp points are based on functional areas of the brain underlying these points.
