OVERARCHING GOAL

BUILDING THE BODY OF CHRIST THROUGH WORSHIP

Describe one experience when you felt marginalized while attending a worship service in another church.
Are there aspects of your worship service that might cause community visitors to feel excluded or unwelcome? What are you doing (and what more could you do) to make community folks experience the full love of Christ in your worship services? When a congregation embraces diversity some changes in worship are dif ficult for current members. Can you think of an occasion when a change in worship gradually moved from tolerance, to appreciation, and finally became a source of inspiration?
