Hettich Top
The screw-on cross mounting plate with pre-mounted self-tapping screws and eccentric height adjustment!
Cabinet doors can be aligned with a hand movement it's no problem with the eccentric adjustment system from Hettich. A perfect reveal cannot be achieved more quickly, directly or indeed more safely, as the fastening screws do not need to be released beforehand. The height adjustment is realized via the integrated eccenter in the mounting plate. The five versions available from Hettich cover different mounting variants. The depth adjustment of a cabinet door is done through the eccenter in the hinge. Only a screwdriver is required to precisely adjust the height and depth. A short turn and all doors form a perfect line.

Cup distance C
The cup distance C is the distance between the edge of the door and the edge of the cup hole. The maximum cup distance depends on the hinge in question. The larger the cup distance, the smaller the required minimum reveal.
C
Mounting options
There are three basic methods of mounting hinges Full overlay In this configuration, the door is positioned in front of a side wall of the cabinet. The reveal at one side is such that the door can be opened safely.
Reveal
Inset In this configuration, the door is positioned inside the side wall of the cabinet. A reveal is required for opening the door. This configuration necessitates the use of heavily cranked hinges. The reveal is the distance between the outer edge of the door and the outer side of the cabinet (full overlay), the distance between two doors (half overlay), the distance between the outer edge of the door and the inner side of the cabinet (inset).
Reveal
X = distance between two hinges (Reference values for 19 mm thick chipboard with a density of 750 kg/m3)
5 4
Door heights up to 2400 up to 2000 up to1600 up to 900
The minimum reveal, also called door deflection, is the space required for opening a door. The amount of reveal depends on the cup distance C, the door thickness and the hinge type. Chamfered door edges reduce the reveal required. The required minimum reveal can be derived from the table provided for each hinge. Minimum door reveal for half overlay For half overlay configurations, the total reveal between the doors must be chosen to correspond to twice the door reveal. Both doors can then be opened at the same time.

Turn screw clockwise: Door overlay decreases (-). Turn screw anticlockwise: Door overlay increases (+).
Height adjustment
2 mm 2 mm Using height-adjustable mounting plates makes it possible to align the exact door height. Direct, variable height adjustment with eccentric screw
Doors are clipped on zipper style from top to bottom the top hinge alone is capable of taking the total weight of the door. Disassembly is carried out in the opposite direction from bottom to top. The hinge is unlatched by pressing lightly on latch (1) which is hidden under the side arm for security reasons.
When using Ecomat and linear mounting plates with eccentric height adjustment, the hinge has to be moved out of the way in order to adjust the height.
In one movement, the hinge arm is lifted off the mounting plate (2) and the door is removed from the cabinet (3).

Note: Drawings on this page are to full scale and show the hinges plus mounting plate distances. By drawing in the required cup distance C (3-8 mm), the door overlay can be measured directly from the applicable distance line. The distance from the cabinet front edge to X on the selected distance line is also equal to the hole line distance from the cabinet front edge. For inset-mounted doors, the cup distance and door thickness must be taken into account when determining the minimum reveal.

At the start of its swing, the door element opens about 50 on the handle side. This ensures that the whole corner cabinet door moves clear of any adjacent doors or drawer fronts. In the open position, the two door elements form a straight line. The cabinet interior is fully accessible for user convenience. The self-closing feature eliminates the need for a catch on the handle side.

Optimat 3E
Hinge technology for face frame furniture of the highest order
The new Optimat 3E complements the Optimat hinge family. The height, side, and depth adjustment options via the oblong opening bring big benefits. doors can be adjusted easily and quickly in six directions. Even after years of use, the doors can be easily adjusted. Solid wood doors warp over time and a larger reveal is required. The Optimat 3E makes this adjustment simple, a definite bonus for the end user. The attractive features of the Optimat 3E include the small 10 mm cup depth and the prospect of a minimum reveal between the door and the frame. The Optimat 3E is K.C.M.A. approved. Overlay 1/2 and 1 1/4, also 7/16 overlay (for back bevelled doors) Small reveal between door and frame Height adjustment via oblong opening K.C.M.A. approved 6-way adjustable face frame hinge Cup depth 10 mm

How Silent System closes drawers softly and soundlessly Noise levels in the kitchen shoot up when drawers are slammed shut. Drawer contents rattle. Contents get shaken up. Things clatter, nerves jangle. InnoTech drawers with Silent System banish this type of disturbance from the kitchen. They help to create a relaxed mood and a more efficient working environment. Silent System closes all drawers gently and softly from lightly laden cutlery drawers to heavily laden pan drawers. Quadro runners with integrated Silent System save kitchen manufacturers extra production steps. Silent System is completely invisible, completely effective and very impressive.
91
92
On the go all the time Some drawers, like the cutlery drawer, are opened and closed time and again. Wide pan drawers with lots of storage space tend to be loaded to the brim. InnoTech and Quadro have shown themselves the ideal team for this heavy use. Even drawers loaded with stacks of plates will open and shut effortlessly on Quadro runners.
Extremely strong and durable A grand total of 180 precision steel balls roll in up to eight tracks, depending on the model. Even continuous loading does not alter their perfectly round shape. The special track profiles and steel balls form a unit that distributes forces evenly in all directions. The result is high stability both vertically and horizontally.
Superb runner action and no let up The Quadros self-cleaning mechanism ensures that dirt particles are simply swept aside by the steel balls as they traverse along the track. The silky smooth action is there to stay.
93
Uncomplicated front panel replacement A blue press button makes it easy to swap front panels. A kitchen user can replace a damaged front panel in a matter of minutes. Theres no need for small problems to cause big costs.
Simple front panel angle adjustment For an immaculate appearance it may be necessary to adjust the angle of the pan drawer front panel. It couldnt be simpler: a twist of the railing is all that is required. Again no tools are needed.
Fast and easy drawer insertion and removal A drawer is inserted by simply locating it on the runners and pushing it in. Two catches automatically lock the drawer in place, preventing accidental removal. To remove the drawer, the catches are pressed inward allowing the drawer to be pulled forward and lifted off the runners.

The ball bearing principle for lifetime satisfaction

Quadro
designed for a very long life
End-to-end quality Quadro runners have a supreme track record for quality and reliability. Master-minded over 20 years ago and continually improved, they embody fittings technology at its best from one of Germany's - and the world's largest furniture fittings manufacturer.
Self-cleaning Dirt doesn't stand a chance in a Quadro runner. The system is selfcleaning. Any dirt is simply swept aside by the steel balls as they traverse along the track. Even after long service, the silky smooth action will not be impaired by dirt particles.
Tracking stability The special profiles and precision steel balls work in perfect harmony. This tracking stability guarantees perfect drawer action. All forces are evenly distributed for excellent vertical and lateral stability.
120
High on durability Steel balls never lose their perfectly round shape even when they're on the move and under pressure. Depending on the Quadro version, up to 180 precision balls made of chrome-hardened steel guarantee the incredibly smooth sliding action.
Silent System
sounds great!
How Silent System closes drawers with Quadro IW21 softly and soundless Noise levels in the kitchen shoot up when drawers are closed vigorously. The front slams against the unit. Drawer contents rattle. Contents get shaken up. Things clatter, nerves jangle. Drawers with Silent System banish this type of disturbance from the kitchen. They help to create a relaxed mood and a more efficient working environment. Silent System closes all drawers gently and softly from lightly laden cutlery drawers. Silent System is integrated in the Quadro IW21 runner saving kitchen manufacturers additional production steps. Silent System is completely invisible, completely effective and very impressive.

Youll hardly hear a Quadro and you wont see it at all. The concealed Quadro runner is a particulary good choice for high-quality furniture: only the perfect function reveals the advanced technology that is built into the furniture. Quadro partial and full extension runners are compatible for face frame and frameless cabinets of course with an optional side or rear attachment.

The safety catch prevents the drawer being accidentally detached from the runners. It is an essential safety feature for over-extension runners. If the centre runner is not moving smoothly, pulling the drawer to its full extension and then closing it will correct the problem. The centre runner is fixed when the drawer is extended.

Loading Capacity for Cabinet Suspension Brackets and Accessories Please observe the following when using cabinet suspension brackets and accessories. 1. We, as a hardware manufacturer, have no influence in regard to materail and/or manufacturing quality of cabinets. 2. We also have no influence in regard to wall materials onto which cabinets are hung. 3. The hooks and dowels offered are determined for use in brick, concrete or similar materials. The material requires an 8 mm hole into which the dowel is knocked in flush. The minimal screw-in depth of the hook is equal to the hook length minus 10 mm. 4. For application into other materials we recommended use of special fixing dowels/screws/hooks available locally. 5. Hanging wall cabinets with more than 1 m2 total shelving (shelf, top- and bottom panel); fixing in conjunction with rails are recommended. These should be screwed down with at least 4 special screws.
