The war goes on here in Zimbabwe Rhodesia. We had great hope that the situation would be settled by this time, but peace is still an illusive dream. But of one thing we can be sure and that is of the peace of Christ that reigns in our hearts as
we seek to be more like Him day by day.

Five of the men in the congregation are preaching regularly on Sunday evenings which is not only a great help to Bill, but is also an indication of their desire to serve God in a more positive manner. This is encouraging for all of us.
The church leaders here have selected monthly missionary projects for the church
to support at the rate of $25 per month. The first two monthly gifts go to Underground Evangelism. At our monthly fellowship time last Saturday we enjoyed and were challenged by the speaker, Mr. Bob Sutton, who is the U.E. representative here. He explained the different ways U.E. is helping the suffering Christians in the underground church in
behind the Iron Curtain countries.

Reba's Bible study with the women on Tuesday mornings is very worthwhile._ They
are now involved in the benevolent work of preparing a "Dorcas Basket" which will in clude canned foods, etc., for needy members or friends. Also, they collect magazines
which will be stamped with our church address and placed in certain rehabilitation
centers where so many young men are recuperating from battle wounds.
We are happy that God has entrusted us with these responsibilities for now. Bill is able to fly a Methodist doctor and his wife (nurse) - Dr. and Mrs. Piburn,
one Mission Aviation Fellowship pilot, Mr. Gordon Marshall.
